Picture of the day: Guardiola

Past midnight, after the cup win celebrations in the dressing room, Guardiola and his close friend Manel Estiarte, a former water polo player and Barcelona's head of external relations, went back out on the pitch and stayed talking about the game for about twenty minutes at the centre circle of an almost empty Mestalla stadium in Valencia.

Guardiola wanted to smell the grass and enjoy the moment. Estiarte commented afterwards to a journalist: "He left off some steam, it was truly emotional. He re-lived the game and I actually wanted to put on a jersey and to start playing myself."

Haha, Mac, Im the same, although my dream would be to play at night in the Camp Nou! It would be awesome! I mean, just watching a game is magic enough!

And Pep, i just had a thought. I dont want to give you too much work, but i've been watching some clips of the hit Catalan show Crakovia lately (im sure you know it!) and i was just wondering if it would be possible to put a few on here with an english script so we can all understand it, because it looks fantastic!! :¬)

Its just a thought, because i think it looks fantastic!

I guess you mean Anna Xicoy, ninzy, the former director general (CEO)? Although I think it's generally believed that it was sports director Txiki Begiristain who put his trust in him.

Time is lacking now, rObReV7. We'll do some reorganization in summer so we'll see what we can do then. The most certain way would be to learn Catalan though...

reminds me of Franz Beckenbauer after winning the world cup with the german national team in 1990 in Rome!

I've read this one from Sport website, but google translator didn't do a good job so I was kinda confused about the content. Anywayz, thanks Pep for this wonderful article.

" Crackovia" seems a big hit show in Barcelona. I heard the show even had higher rating than " CSI" on monday nite. Even i don't understand any single word they said, but I laughed so hard every time and thanks to youtube, basically it has updated episode every week.
