Possible package offer for Buffon and Trezeguet

Italian sports site Sportmediaset meanwhile claims that Juventus goalkeeper and Italian international Gianluigi Buffon (31) is the first name on Barcelona's target list in case the club wouldn't find a renewal agreement with Barcelona goalkeeper Víctor Valdés (28) (read more here).

Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain would already have been in contact with Silvano Martina, the agent of Buffon, to hear more about the situation of the goalkeeper (read more here).

Italian sports paper Il Corriere dello Sport claims that Barcelona would be waiting for the right moment to try to close a deal and could make a bid of 50 million euro°. The paper also claims that Barcelona could make Juventus a package offer for Buffon plus Juventus forward David Trezeguet (31), while the Italian club could ask to include Barcelona players like Samuel Eto'o (28), Yaya Touré (25) and Andrés Iniesta (24) in the deal.

Asked about the statement of Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli that Buffon could be for sale if a good offer comes in, Buffon's agent Martina said earlier this week in an interview with Italian radio staion Radio Kiss Kiss that the goalkeeper is not looking for an exit:

"Buffon won't leave Turin, unless a crazy offer comes in because every player is on the market. All I can say about what the papers are writing is just that there's no truth in that. Gigi has a contract until 2013 and feels at home here. He just renewed his contract for five more seasons last year, so there's nothing that indicates that he wants to leave. If we receive an offer we will nevertheless evaluate it and discuss it with the club."

maybe etoo and yaya if they dont want to stay, but iniesta is out of the question for any deal. Also if we are going to spend that much, would it not be better to get a younger gk? A cech or a reina?

Today is not April 1st, so why such a joke?

No way we will include Andres in any such blasphemous deal. And Toure too, is a very valueable asset.

No way in hell would we sell Iniesta hes too valuable. Im a big toure fan and i would like to see him stay and whats with all these rumours about Trezeguet coming to barca, hes old and way pass his prime, let him retire in italy and let us go for a younger and better striker.
one last thing, why would renewing valdes contract be a higher priority over buying buffon? pretty sure i would get buffon any day before valdes, no offence to VV.

still, even asking for iniesta is absurd.

all this talk, tho, is amazing. why would barca be looking to mess with its recipe when it's working so well? best bet is they try to resign everyone they can and then replace those who they can't resign + a couple youthful players like keirrison. or, at least, that's my hope.

(and completely unrelated: this is a fun little waste of some time: mybrute )

The Observer claims that Henry is for sale, so why would Barca sign another 30+ yo striker such as Trezeguet???

I think Buffon is saying it very clearly in the picture above. 'Are you people blind? Can't you see this is a load of SHIT'. lol

50 million is to cheap for Buffon in my opinion. If it was 50 million plus Iniesta then I think Juve would consider it. I dont think that Barca are going to sell one of their youth products though, and if Juventus get Diego this Summer Iniesta isnt needed so i believe that this story is false. However if Buffon went to Barca he would outshine Casillas on a weekly basis :D. FORZA JUVE!!!

really guys i think that buffon is un need'nt and the price is to much .i woud prefer de gea or asenjo. for the streicer i think that trezeguet is to old and wouldn't bee usefull to the team .and i don't understand why barca is not interested in aguero why not having anoother world clas player
