Asked about the rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona (read more here), Standard de Liège forward and Serbian international Milan Jovanovic (27) had said in an interview with the official website of the Serbian football association that he would blindly accept an offer:
"Thinking about Barcelona is already a nice thing, let alone playing for this team! If an offer by the Catalans comes in, I won't think twice for sure. I'm not afraid of the competition! Jokes aside, there are numerous offers but I will think of a transfer only when the season ends and when I finished my job for the national team."
Catalan sports paper Sport claims that the transfer fee asked for Jovanovic, who has a contract with his Belgian club until the summer of 2010, would be around 7 million euro°.

7 million euro =
9,5 million us dollar
6,5 million british pound
this would be the worst transfer ever.. He has a very bad mentallity, even fought with teammates on more than one occasion + can't handle a bench role. He hasn't got lots of skill neither. has less than 10 goals in the belgian league he won't score more than 5 goals in spain, even if he plays every week! And assists? he's to selfish to pass the ball!
don`t you think he is a little too old
some players need more time to get there, I think (not saying he would be useful for us, but you cannot exclude him because of his age)
