Luis Suárez: "Ibra is a Culé"

Asked about the current negotiations between Barcelona and Inter, Barcelona legend and Inter Milan scout Luis Suárez has told French sports site So Foot that Inter Milan forward and Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic (27) will be a Barcelona player this season.

“I did not lead the negotiations myself, but yes, I can tell you that Ibrahimovic will be a Barcelona player this season. It seems ready for Eto’o to join Inter, too. I am not so sure about Hleb”

I hope Eto'o will accept the swap deal. His agent says no to anything that benifets FC Barcelona, even if it is good for Eto'o also.

yea Iason i hate agents, especially the ones who care more for themselves which will be most of them.

Txiki said that they are working on Eto's exit

Quite funny actually that most of the swedish barcelona fans (like me) are having a bad feeling about this transfer, while fans from other countries love it.

In Sweden, some like Ibra and some thinks he's overrated, but in other countries everyone likes him.

According to a certain 'insideknowledge' in the other post, Eto'o's agent might not have given such a statement, it's just a baseless rumor. It seems all the parties agreed to be tight-lipped regarding the deal for now :)

westi i think he is some how like CR in personality(ok niot sooo bad) when he score he raise his hands andmake a face that say i am the greatsest .

but i think he is a good player , problem will be his salary since if he flops will be hard to find somebody who will take him in bad form

i have a bad feeling about this...i hope its not gna be anthr villa saga..

And what is this abt txiki saying we will only add ONE more player by july 27th !?!?!?! Does that mean we wont be getting a Midfielder or a Winger?!??

Marc4barca said...

blaugrana 1, one more player by 27th of july means he just won't sign anyone else until that time passes, cause we have loads of pre-season matches. the market closes on august 31st, we got a whole month left.

I just read on TVE TV-TEXT that La porta has confirmed that an "agreement in principal " was reached to send Ibrahimovic to Barça and Eto'o to Inter and Hleb to Inter on loan .

i can assure all i am genuine many bloggers on this site have had reliable information from myself before and know who iam remember i am the guy who said sandrusco will use cesc as his golden ticket in the elections next season and i was proved right when a few days later this became knowledge to all cules, i can also tell you sandrusco wants to bring el kun also to barca next season sandrusco is a very powerful negotiator and has alot of influence within nike he will get the best deals for barca i see him like a perez of barca but without the financial insanity!!, this board are all united and i can confirm like always that sandrusco and joan have been in talks for some time regarding players as this current board widely believes sandrusco is likely to become the new president as of next season!!, @samuel i do not need to justify who iam, im a cule and a brother of everyone on here bonded by the blaugrana blood flowing through our veins, i trust in you as a cule that you will take me seriously as im trying my hardest 2 relay some info 2 all cules.

ibra deal:

this is very complex the player has shown a desire to come and succeed and he wants to start a new chapter in his career, we are talking with mino (his agent) and we may have a deal sorted by monday i can confirm that eto'os entourage are in negotiations with inter. on this subject i feel i must not disclose anymore information as its at a very sensitive stage!

on lucio:

we tried to acquire the player but inter then registered there interest we agreed to allow inter to close the sale they paid €11m euro although they have not officially confirmed it we had a deal to allow inter to acquire the player in order to set up the deal with ibra, yes lucio did tick the criteria of a centre back we needed but at 31 and costing €11m euro we thought it not the best investement as we have defenders of a similar age, we have full confidence in henrique although we may yet still bring another cb to the club this option is not closed, pep discussed with txiki about using yaya as a centre back more often which could cover the centre back options if needed.

caceres/poulsen swap:

on this subject i can only say that no permanent sale will be made, although both clubs are looking at season long loan swaps as pep wants another DM, and juve want a CB if a deal is struck it will see both players move on loan for a season with no option to purchase, we have faith in caceres but we feel he needs to grow in confidence and in a league like italy he will become far more better defensively.

hernanes:

its an option we are exploring the €10m euro fee reportedly wanted is just for the brazilian market if any club thats not from brazil i.e say us wants the player sao paulo keeps referring to the €25m euro buy out clause, we are looking at the deal we have some of our people in brazil talkin to keirrison and also about palmeiras possibly becoming the gamper opponents!.

finances:

overall we are looking the healthiest ever our turnover far exceeds over expenditure, infact we have new lines of credit available if and when we need it we have been approached by several european banks offering new credit lines with credit ranging from €60-350m euros but we feel this is not pur model and as we will be totally debt free by the start of november we all feel this would be a bad move, but the credit is there available for the new president if they so wish to use it.

@ Anurag

ibra turns 28 in 3 months

eto'o is only maybe 7 months older than ibrah, and 9 months older than villa.

they're all the same age basically

insideknowledge

it sounded good, but then it all came down. barca will NOT be totaly debt free in november. Last year they where supposed to be debt free from banks, aka short term loans.
Barca still have about3-400€ mill in loans to other instances, these loans however are supposed to be paid back until about 2029 or something...

wow the insider is here :O could laporta be talking to sandro? i thought they hate each other on sight lol. i dont see laporta endorsing him next yr the rift is just too wide but i could be wrong. anyway i just hope barca doesnt turn into a nike all stars after he wins. i hate for barca to be a clone of madrid. seriously.

God damn!

This is the third worse signing we could make this summer, right after Ronaldo and Guti. Horrible, horrible news.

I think it will be too much midgets if Rosell wants to bring both Kun and Cesc. Even Cesc is a bit risky as Iniesta is no great goalscorer. When Iniesta is on the left, we usually play with Keita in the middle who is more of a goalscorer with his shooting, runs and heading. so with Cesc it could be a situation where we too often tries to walk the ball into the goal. But let us wait and see. Rosell would no doubt be a great president.
