Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona still hasn't reached an agreement with a club that would take part in the Joan Gamper Trophy that will be played on Wednesday 19 August in Barcelona.
After failed talks with Italian champions Inter Milan, Portuguese champions Porto and the Mexican national team, Barcelona would now be negotiating with Brazilian club Corinthians.
Despite the optimism, Barcelona is reportedly also holding a couple of other South-American options open, one of them being Argentinian club River Plate. With just one month to go before the game at the Camp Nou, Barcelona wants to reach an agreement as soon as possible.
