Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola has personally informed Barcelona attacker and Icelandic international Eidur Gudjohnsen (30) that he is not in the club’s plans for the upcoming season and should therefore look for a new club this summer.
Despite a strong start to the 2008-09 campaign, Gudjohnsen saw his appearances limited to mostly the Copa del Rey as Barcelona’s treble winning season wore on.
West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola is said to be keen on adding the out of favor striker to his attack. Zola was a teammate of Gudjohnsen’s at Chelsea F.C. and the pair played together from 2000-2003. The transfer fee would have been set at around 5 million euro.

Question- Will all the cartoons and articles from thenoseoftxiki and Barca cartoon websites be posted here?
I believe they will be selectively posted.
i think he can be goood sub for next season
He would, be a great sub next season, Gudy is a very diverse, technical, and a strong contributor. Plus he seems to gel well with the teammates. He will do great where ever he goes, best of luck...
I think he will go to the EPL
ill have mixed feelings about guddy leaving. on one hand, i never thought the guy had much talent and so would be happy. but he is a good team man, ready to chip in when needed without complaint.
same here guys. would be sad if he goes. he was pretty much a team player, never complaining, pitching in when he can. but i guess we have to make space for new blood coming in. all the best to guddy.
xaviniesta
act we need sme repacement for him who could accpt the bench can fill in when required and make way for our youth
gudi has contibuted much to our team not only in matches but in training groung , prvided dept variation to our attack ...was versatile and nver cr8 ne arguements or showed unhappyness due to lack of match ( even though he would have felt it

Guddy has been a model professional and deserves to be praised for his great attitude. I can't think of another player in the squad outside the home grown players that has his attitude. I wish him all the best for the future :-)
