Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona is closely monitoring the Brazilian transfer market.
The club would at this moment be most interested in Palmeiras forward Keirrison (20) and Santos forward and Brazilian youth international Neymar (17 – picture).
Both players would have been scouted several times by Barcelona head scout Pepe Costa. Barcelona sports director Txiki Begristain was yesterday invited by Traffic, Keirrison’s player's agency, to assist a Brazilian league game between Palmeiras and Bragantino (read more here).

i think we should get keirreson,i have seen this guy in action for palmeiras,but i dont know anything about this NEYMAR,if he is a promising talent,let him come.i really love south american players. expecially forwards and mildfielders.
Lets get Neymar and loan him out to a Dutch club or a spanish club where he will play
Probably won't happen because they're too expensive..
We could lend them out to psv who are really struggling and need some quality injection! or AZ and get dembele instead !
Keirrison is Barca quality right now and could play in our first team right away if we signed him. He is a David Villa mold forward. Technique, pace, accurate finisher, capable in the air. He has everything. I like the idea of signing a young forward like Keirrison since we already have Samu, Henry and Bojan. We don't need an ego signing.
Neymar would be a signing for the future. He would be loaned out for a year or two if signed this summer.
I would rather have Douglas Costa (Gremio) or Marquinhos (Vitoria) over Neymar. There is also Alex Texeira (Vasco) and Willians Santana (Vitoria) for young Brazilian talent who can play on the wing or up front. Brasil has so much talent it is unreal.
KluivertsBoots: Voce é Brasileiro? You seem 2 know a lot of young brasilian talents. The names u are talking about arnt very known for people outside Brasil. Marquinhos for exemple is good but he wouldnt play for Barca i the nearest 5 years. Alex Teixeira is playing hes second year as a Vasco Da Gama first team player and he is great, does hes job very well. But I would likte 2 c Keirrison in Barcelona, he should last season that he is a great FW. And now at Palmeiras he can become even bigger. Palmeiras is better then Coritiba in many levels. BTW Keirrison have a Italian second nationlati and that mean no problemos 4 Barcelona ....
Keirrison would be the BOMB in Barcelona. He is quite tall and capable in the air as well. He is a true number 9, I think we need a player like him next year since Eto'o will be away for 6 weeks in Africa plus you never know when a serious injury happens.
Keirrison would be my choice too.He's that tall target-type forward Guardiola wants.Get him while he's rather cheap.
and what do we do with Bojan sell him to everton and in 5 years time buy him back for 50m???? Bojan is the striker of the future even he said so himself this week...
