I'm honoured when people include me among the best midfielders in the world, but I don't agree. The midfielders I admire the most all three play at Barça: Iniesta, Leo Messi and Xavi. I really enjoy seeing them play. Those three players are one level above all the rest.

Well anonymous is both right and wrong. Gerrard is better then Xavi/Iniesta but Xavi/Iniesta are players with godlike qualities.
They are good at different things but I think Gerrard is one of the most complete midfielders in the world and he would be a key player for any team in the whole world.

Gerrard is good at everything, the best at nothing, he will never dribble like iniesta or pass like xavi. a well rounded player but i would rather have the best assisting mid and the best dribbling mid than 2 gerrards. i would put him right after them though.
Gerard game depends on emotion.
Liverpool wins because of their fans.Most of Gerard goals are dubious penalties.
