Jeffren has personal deal with Racing Santander

Cantabria regional newspaper El Diario Montañés claims that Racing Santander would have reached a personal agreement with Barcelona Atlètic wing attacker Jeffren Suárez (21).

Jeffren would join Racing on a four-year contract, while Barcelona would keep the right to buy the player back (read more here).

The deal nevertheless depends on the green light by Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola, who should agree on letting the player leave this summer. Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain reportedly informed Racing president Francisco Pernía on Monday that the final decision hasn't yet been made.

Oh! Thank God!! If this is true then that definitely means we are in for a new winger :)

We don't have money for another winger, stop hoping... Some really think we have endless resources, this is no fantasy game.

I don't like this at all. I think we should loan him out or let him be back-up for our first team. Selling him now wont be good for us sportswise or economically. If we loan him and he proves to be a man for our squad nothing is lost. If he, on the other hand, poves to be good but not good enough for Barca we can sell him, and probably get more money for him than now. If he proves to be a flop at racing we could always loan him to another team and hope for a better development.

25 for Dima
15 for keirrison
15 for Ibra(as claimed by sources that 45 will be paid on a stretch of 3 years)
5 for Maxwell
which is like 60m
Since the available budget was 80m, it would be 20m that we have still left with us. Hopefully if we get 5m for Jeffren, we'd have 25m. I suppose that's enough for some one like Luis Suarez or Arda Turan or Ibrahim Afellay...

So what is the price? Are we giving him away for free?

The board were ready to bid for both Dima & Mata even after we bought Ibra, Maxwell & Keirrison. So I think we still have some funds left, or may be I'm just being optimistic

Loans are not as good because the player knows he is only there for a year and isnt really part of the club, just a rental. Selling him allows him some stability as he knows he has a four year contract with racing. Also it would mean we would not have to pay his salary during this period.

People are always complaining we dont do things like real madrid, well this is what real madrid did with granero and negredo. Sell them with the option to buy them back.

Just because we pay in installments doesn't mean that it isn't part of the budget! We probably dont pay 15m upfront for Keirrison either, it is divided over many years, similar to other buys we have made like Henry, Alves, Keita, Hleb etc. We are still paying for those even if we didn't buy them this summer.

Forget Mata. Sign Silva.

Maybe pep has more faith in gai. I dont know something about jeffren this year has made me not like him as much as i did when i saw him last season. I cant exactly put him finger on what it is. Maybe it was his hairstyle that was too flashy. I always liked him more than pedro. Maybe Pep has plans to let Gai get some mins on the LW as opposed to Jeffren and can allow him to leave.

That's what we did with Marc Crosas. It seems to have worked with him last year, but this season he didn't find much of play-time after that Tony Mowbray took over. Hope Crosas wins back his confidence and play a very vital role this season so that our board won't hesitate to activate the buy-back option that we included in his contract.
Crosas actually attracted very nice reviews last season. It seems Celtic won for like 12 games at a stretch when Crosas started; they played a very good free-flow game and averaged like 2.5 goals per game during that period :)

We are only selling players that is judged as very unlikely to make it to the Barca first team. Jeffren isn't really good enough for us, so we sell him. I think most Barca-fans would agree with this.

Valencia are not selling to us unless we offer Crazy prices. Even if we had some money i doubt we have enough for a "crazy" bid otherwise we would have gone after ribery. We already pissed them off by meeting with villa to discuss a contract without their permission, do you really think they will sell to us 2 days before la liga starts?

I'm not saying that we would be going for Mata again... I only meant we might still have some funds left to sign a winger. Since we were ready to bid for like around 20m for Mata, may be that would be kinda enough to sign some one like Luis Suarez

If its true we definitly need a LW. Still i am a little sad because I think Jeffren could be really good one day, but we still have a buy back clause which is good

Maybe we could get Robben for that amount, I would like that he is world class

After we get Chygrynskiy, if we get him, we should not have anymore transfers this summer. Im thinking Guardiola will not let him go until Winter. If he leaves winter we'll get a right back, and a winger, and i dont think we need an attacking midifelder but nevertheless Anderson of Man U could be acquired for loan after his bust up with Ferguson

Now this baffles me. It seems we're ready to let go players left and right, some even almost for free and you would expect other clubs would treat us in a more friendly manner due to this.

Barca, afaik has never created barriers when other teams seek our players. Nothing is leaked to the media about disagreements or any arm-twisting deals. They just seem to be amicable agreements and yet when we go for other club's players, all sort of bad rumours are circulated making it seems we're bad negotiators.

Now, where did Barca go wrong? Is it our negotiators who leaked these rumours OR THAT, they really are bad at it that they pissed the other parties?

OR... it's the other parties that likes to try to "swindle" Barca?

buj; It is Txiki! He can't even negotiate a good price for a loaf a bread to a millionaire who starving on an island. He should be replaced.

Robben is on his way to ManU...it's probably good for Jeffren himself,he gets regular playing time and important experience...if he makes an impact,we can get him back
