Chygrynskiy will probably be the last transfer

Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that the possible transfer of Shakhtar centre-back Chygrynskiy will be the last incoming transfer of the summer.

Despite the fact that there could still be some pieces missing - namely a right back, an attacking midfielder and a left winger - the club would close the transfer window.

Catalan sports paper Sport nevertheless claims that there might be bought another player, depending on the chances offered by the market during the last days of the August. Catalan sports paper El 9 Esportiu reports that Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain plans to postpone further transfer activity until the winter transfer window next January (read more here).

Right back and attacking midfielder isn't needed. We have Puyol for RB and Xavi/Iniesta/Yaya/Tiago for AM. A left winger might be needed, but no crisis with Henry, Iniesta, Bojan there.

Chygrynskiy could play but don't expect him to play with us. He'll play the Super Cup with Shakhtar. If they accept to let him go (still to be seen...), they will want him there for the Super Cup for sure.

I cant see us spending too much in January. Maxi Lopez was the last January transfer I remember. Not exactly the best advertisement

January is a very bad time to buy. Nobody wants to get rid of their players in the middle of the season!

If Milito wakes up from the dead by then, it will be like a new signing!

Davids was a great signing, for sure. They just should keep their eyes open.

Jupp - Edgar Davids came in and turned things around that season for sure - a great signing - before he came in R10 was looking pale during his first time in the club. I never got why the club didn't want to hold on to him though. Does anybody know? Was it maybe the doping issues he had?

I still hope were going to sign a LW, but it has to be someone good, someone at Henrys level. Henry cant play 2 times a week

Barcelona wanted him to stay but Davids rejected.

And after Chygrynskiy we don't have a cent left anymore, we're already overspending, so don't hope for another transfer anyway.

I´ve heard that Davids wanted a crazy salary for staying after the loan deal was over. Barca then sendt him back, and look how things turned out for him since. Jævla dust!.

We need a winger for sure... I don't know we backed down from signing Luis Suarez, there was a lot of speculation back in May & June. It seems Ajax need a CB & a Striker. Why not include Henrique in that and lure Suarez to our team, & that too when Racing is not ready to pay his entire fee and want us to pay some of it!? For all those Jeffren fans, compare both Suarez's and you will find why I so want us to sign him, both are of similar age and Luis is way too advanced compared to our Jeffren.

I still think we need a center midfielder. Arteta for 15-18mil would be good. LW is not needed, I still thinks that Bojan will be best in that position. He can cross, drible and shoot well, perfect for our 4-3-3 scoring winger. I'm not sure he will be a good 4-4-2 winger but he will definitely be a good 4-3-3 one. Hope Keirrison will be good enough to play alongside with Messi and Bojan in the future. He seems like a good finisher.

But if Bojan is better as CF in the future. We should definitely sign Luis Suarez. Showed what he can do in the 4-3-3 LW position in Ajax. Great dribller and scorer.

By signing Luis Suarez, we'll have 6 strikers for our front 3 in Henry, Ibra, Messi, Suarez, Bojan & pedro.
And next year if hopefully keirrison comes back and impresses the coach, we'd have Suarez, Ibra, messi, Bojan, Keirrison & Pedro. That would be like an ideal situation with very tough competition which would tend to bring out the best from our front 3. I hope the board is thinking in these lines & I'm very positive because there was a lot of buzz about us signing Suarez when Ibra was not yet signed... And I sincerely hope it does happen :)

I think we need a midfielder more than a winger due to ANC in January when Toure and Keita are away...Thiago and JDS could be back-ups there

Hi. Im writing from Ukraine and want to say few words about this transfer. Im not from Donetsk (Im from Kharkiv. Maybe you know Metalist) but I know many information about Shahtar. I read many maseges in football forums and chats in our country and I want to say that people dont understand why your coach wants to buy Chigirinski. And I to think that this player is not the level for Barca. Many people joked that he is a hole in the defense. :D

Marseille’s Mathieu Valbuena Could Make A ‘Surprise’ Transfer – Agent

It's only GOAL.COM, but I had thought about him earlier. Maybe a very cheap back-up for our midfield. Deschamps made it clear he could leave so moneywise its a no-brainer. I just don't know the guy very well, besides reading reviews and seeing him play an odd time.
