Italian sports paper la Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Barcelona has made a new bid of 75 million euro plus the loan of Aleksander Hleb after the club rejected to pay an exit bonus to Barcelona forward and Cameroonian international Samuel Eto'o (28).
Italian sports site Sportmediaset claims that Barcelona has rejected the exit bonus request and that Josep Maria Mesalles, the player's agent, would now be flying back to Milan for a new meeting with Inter Milan officials. The Italian champions would now have to raise the salary offer and come closer to the 12 million euro asked previously.
Another problem would meanwhile be that Inter Milan manager José Mourinho isn't interested in Barcelona attacker and Belarusian international Aleksander Hleb (28), who was offered by Barcelona to join Inter on a free loan. The Portuguese coach would prefer to sign Benfica winger Angel Di Maria to strenghten his squad.

Eto'o could have deal with Milan for 2010
Italian sports site Sportmediaset claims that Barcelona forward and Cameroon international Samuel Eto'o (28) will most probably join AC MIlan next summer when his contract with Barcelona expires.
Milan transfer adviser Ernesto Bronzetti would have made the first contacts with the player's agent Josep Maria Mesalles, after which Milan officials got involved with the permission of new AC Milan manager Leonardo. An agreement could be reached but cannot be officially announced until next January. This would also be the main reason why Eto'o doesn't want to be included in a deal on Inter striker Ibrahimovic.
Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Eto'o is in Barcelona between two international games with Cameroon to analyze his future. Sources from the entourage of the player denied that Eto'o would have met with Inter officials at an airport in Paris when he was travelling back from Africa to Barcelona earlier this week.

Inter Milan dreaming of Toure
Italian sports site Sportmediaset claims that Inter Milan is interested in Barcelona defensive midfielder and Ivorian international Yaya Touré (26).
Inter Milan manager José Mourinho, who also liked Touré's performance during the Champions League final on Wednesday, would like to link Touré with former Barcelona player Thiago Motta in midfield.
Although he realizes that a transfer will be very difficult this summer, the Portuguese manager would nevertheless have ordered his club to sound out the parties involved to hear if a transfer could be possible.

Pre-agreement with Ibrahimovich
Italian sports site Sportmediaset claims that Barcelona has reached a pre-agreement with Inter Milan forward and Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic (27).
The deal with Barcelona would be the reason why the player's agent Mino Raiola rejected this week to start talks with Chelsea.
The main obstacle during the negotiations would have been the salary of Ibrahimovic, who currently earns 12 million euro at Inter, while Barcelona didn't want to pay more than the 8 million euro Lionel Messi is earning. The Swedish striker would in the end earn a year salary of 9 million euro plus incentives.
Barcelona has not yet contacted Inter Milan, who would be willing to talk about a transfer if the fee offered is 70 million euro°. Barcelona forward and Cameroonian international Samuel Eto'o (28) is Inter's first option to replace Ibrahimovic and could therefore be included in the deal.
Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera also claims that Barcelona and Ibrahimovic are talking. Barcelona would be the preferred option for the Swedish striker (read more here) but Inter Milan would not be willing to let him go. If a transfer would become inevitable later this summer, the Italian club would ask a transfer fee of 100 million euro°.

Possible package offer for Buffon and Trezeguet
Italian sports site Sportmediaset meanwhile claims that Juventus goalkeeper and Italian international Gianluigi Buffon (31) is the first name on Barcelona's target list in case the club wouldn't find a renewal agreement with Barcelona goalkeeper Víctor Valdés (28) (read more here).
Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain would already have been in contact with Silvano Martina, the agent of Buffon, to hear more about the situation of the goalkeeper (read more here).
Italian sports paper Il Corriere dello Sport claims that Barcelona would be waiting for the right moment to try to close a deal and could make a bid of 50 million euro°. The paper also claims that Barcelona could make Juventus a package offer for Buffon plus Juventus forward David Trezeguet (31), while the Italian club could ask to include Barcelona players like Samuel Eto'o (28), Yaya Touré (25) and Andrés Iniesta (24) in the deal.
Asked about the statement of Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli that Buffon could be for sale if a good offer comes in, Buffon's agent Martina said earlier this week in an interview with Italian radio staion Radio Kiss Kiss that the goalkeeper is not looking for an exit:
"Buffon won't leave Turin, unless a crazy offer comes in because every player is on the market. All I can say about what the papers are writing is just that there's no truth in that. Gigi has a contract until 2013 and feels at home here. He just renewed his contract for five more seasons last year, so there's nothing that indicates that he wants to leave. If we receive an offer we will nevertheless evaluate it and discuss it with the club."

Maxwell could be included in Eto’o deal
Asked about the rumours linking Inter Milan left back defender Maxwell (27) to several clubs among which Barcelona (read more here), the player’s agent Mino Raiola has said in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Radio that the player will certainly leave at the end of the season:
"Maxwell has said that he wants to leave. The relationship between Mourinho and Maxwell is over and the coach doesn’t count on him. The problem with Mourinho is that either you’re Zlatan and he invites you at his place or you’re not and then you don’t exist. That’s not right.
It will be the player who will decide where he goes to, not the club. We’ll put an end to the contract, we’ll pay what has to be paid and that’s it. He will go to the club with whom we can find an agreement. That could be Milan or Barcelona. We didn’t receive any concrete offers, but I think that all the big clubs know the value of this player."
Italian sports site Sportmediaset claims that Raiola already started talking with Barcelona. Maxwell, who currently earns two million euro a year, should cost around 8-9 million euro°. The Brazilian left back defender could also be included in a deal on the transfer of Barcelona forward Samuel Eto’o (28) to Inter (read more here).

Inter wants to sign Eto'o in the summer
Italian sports site Sportmediaset claims that Inter Milan is interested in signing Barcelona forward and Cameroon international Samuel Eto'o (27) next summer.
While Inter manager Mourinho wants to sign Drogba, Inter president Moratti prefers Tevez. Eto'o would be the option that both don't dislike.
The Cameroonian striker would last summer already have sent a FIFA agent and close friend to Milan to sound out Inter and AC Milan when he seemed to be on his way out of Barcelona. Inter would then have linked the transfer to the exit of Adriano, which in the end didn't go through.
If Inter could find an agreement with Eto'o, Barcelona would be ready to negotiate a transfer. With Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola having asked for Arsenal forward Adebayor and Barcelona also working on the transfer of Lyon forward Benzema, Barcelona could be willing to let Eto'o, whose contract expires in 2010, go for 30 million euro°.

Ribery or Gourcuff to replace Henry next summer
Madrid sports tabloid As claims that Barcelona is considering selling Barcelona forward and French international Thierry Henry (31) in the summer.
While Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola and his staff are more than satisfied with the performances of Henry this season, the board and some members of the football department would like to put Henry for sale at the end of the season. They think this is the last chance to get a decent transfer fee for the striker whose contract expires in 2011.
If Henry would leave, something that in the end will depend on Guardiola, the club has two players in mind to replace him: Bayern Munich wing attacker and French international Franck Ribéry (25) and Bordeaux attacker and AC Milan loan out Yoann Gourcuff (22) .
Italian sports site Sportmediaset meanwhile claims that Barcelona has already asked for Gourcuff. Milan would want to use the transfer fee of 15 million euro° to buy David Beckham from Los Angeles Galaxy. Bordeaux has also an option to sign the French international permanently for the same amount before 1 July.

Juventus interested in Xavi for next season
Italian sports site Sportmediaset claims that Juventus is interested in Barcelona midfielder and Spanish international Xavi (28). Together with Werder Bremen's Diego, the Catalan should become the key player of Juventus' midfield next season.
Jonathan Koenig, one of the representatives of Xavi, would recently have met with Barcelona officials to talk about a contract renewal but an agreement couldn't reached (read more here).
Xavi, whose contract expires in the summer of 2010, would be asking a serious increase of his 3,5 million euro year salary, which Barcelona president Joan Laporta isn't willing to give him. The player would now consider using article 17 of the FIFA Transfer Regulations, which permits players to terminate their contracts after a 'protected period'.
