Barça B: Season possibly over for Victor Vazquez

Barcelona's medical staff announced earlier this week that Barcelona Atlètic attacker Víctor Vázquez (22) has suffered a dislocation of the right knee cap.

Vázquez got injured during Sunday's league game against Villarreal B and had to be substituted after ten minutes.

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that, although Barcelona considered a conservative treament, there has in the end been decided that Vázquez will undergo surgery. The Catalan player will probably be out for three to four months after the operation, which would mean he won't return to action this season. Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Vázquez will be operated tomorrow or on Monday and that he will be out for five to six months.
