Eto & Abi cant afford yellow cards against Valencia. They are both one booking away from suspension. Classico is a must for Sammu and Abi. Play Unlce Vs Valencia and let Henry play no.9 with iniesta or Hleb on the left flank
I do possibly agree with you there.
It's Eto'o, Toure and Xavi which are in the dangerzone :)
(Look for the league-cards instead of total cards)
You forget Alves too is in the danger zone!
28 assists for xavi, thats phenomenal! must be some kind of record.
i agree, rest etoo give bojan a chance but we need to play alves to counter silva, also play keita instead of toure
Eto'o, Toure, Xavi, and Busquets. Not sure about the rules. Do the Cup cards count ? Wasn't Jimenez supposed to be suspended for this one ?
One thing is sure for me: Or Iniesta OR Messi must always play, you cannot play without bot of them, they're the only ones who can make the difference in one-on-ones.
Besides the Espanyol red, Keita has only 1 yellow ? Thats a surprise.
Jimenez was released yesterday afternoon (in appeal), Palop and Adriano were not.
And Alves has now 9 yellows, I must have missed one. So he's also on alert. I guess it wouldn't be a surprise if Puyol takes his place.
I think only the league count (unless with red cards, then you're suspended for the next game, no matter league or cup---don't know for sure, but it was something not logical) and it's a cycle of five.
A suspension for Xavi would be a disaster. I pray that that doesn't happen.
thanks pep, i think Alves should defnitely sit out the next game. The others don't pick up cards so easily but Alves's style of defending is such that he seems more likely to pick up a card than not.
Btw, is there also a rule that you have to sit out a game after 3 consecutive yellows ?
Not that I know of...
