Messi was the best player on the field and he had biggest part in the goal than Pedro.
And..... Puyol preventing Shakhtar from getting any chance on goal on every counter-attack. Which, had they do, we would have a harder time.
Puyol prevented 5-6 very easy goals when the Donetsk attackers would have been one on one with Valdes.
Nice to see that is wasn't only I who saw that Puyol was a real giant at the back. Good to see that he still got it. I think he can hold his place in the starting eleven for a long time. He is 31 now, and I think he could go as far as Paolo Maldini.
