Barcelona following Argentinian striker De Federico

Asked about the rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona, Huracán forward Matías de Federico (20) has said in an interview with Argentinian sports paper Olé that he knows about the presumed interest:

"I’ve read that Barcelona has asked for videos of my games but I have to stay calm about it because there’s nothing concrete. At this moment I’m only thiking about Huracán and what I can do here.

People have compared me with Messi but he’s an extraordinary player. I admire him a lot and I’m not anywhere close to him. I dream about being like him but that’s still far off."

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain checked on some Argentinian talents during his stay in the country over the last days.

I want him only play at Barca or in south america.
He is a perfect replacement for messi in case he is injured.
I think he is humble enough to do that and as time passes, he would become a regular in the team.
I could be a signing similar to Alves
