Valladolid interested in Barcelona B player Botia

Spanish football site Join Futbol claims that Valladolid is closely monitoring Barcelona Atlètic central defender and Spanish youth international Alberto Botía (20).

Valladolid would want to sign Botía, who is regularly taken part in the training sessions of the first team and who has been part of Barcelona's match squad a couple of times this season, to rejuvenate their defense and would like to include a buy option in a possible one-year loan deal.

Barcelona would be considering to let Botía leave on loan to a Spanish first division club in the summer to gain some experience. The Spanish defender, who joined Barcelona's youth acadamy in 2003, could this way gain some experience before joining the first team.

Maybe Pep should try him in the first team because we have so many injuries in our defense...he would be a great back-up for Marquez and Caceres in this situation. Get well,Pique!

yes he would try him ,may be against valladolid in our next match, but i think he should be loaned out to a first division team next season, soas to gain more experience, and when he comes back,it would be nice to have him with henrique, pique, puyol, caceres and milito/maquez(if they stays).
