Twenty players in Champions League final list

Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola announced earlier today a list of 20 players for the Champions League final against Manchester United Wednesday evening at 8:45 pm.

The list:
Valdés, Pinto,
Puyol, Piqué, Botía, Muniesa, Cáceres, Sylvinho,
Xavi, Touré, Busquets, Keita, Gudjohnsen, Iniesta,
Messi, Eto'o, Bojan, Henry, Hleb, Pedro

Milito, Márquez, Henry, Iniesta, Jorquera, Alves and Víctor Sánchez are recovering from injuries. Iniesta and Henry, who still didn't get the green light from the medical staff, will travel to Rome. Alves and Abidal are suspended. Barcelona Atlètic central defender Alberto Botía and Barcelona Juvenil A central defender Marc Muniesa are also part of the match squad.

Barcelona will travel tomorrow to Rome and will later in the day have a last training session at the Olympic stadium.

Do you think Muniesa will see the field should the game be out of reach? It would be pretty exciting for the kid to travel to Rome with the squad after this weekend's game!

Messi mentioned Milito in his speech on Saturday saying that he has been important supporting the team and that he didn't want to come out there that night because he's a "boludo". Check that in the dictionary near you.

VV

Puyol - Toure - Pique - Caceres

Xavi - Keita - Iniesta

Messi - Eto'o - Henry

This would be my prediction for the line-up. Sylvinho is getting a little to old and I dont think he can hold up against guys like Ronaldo. Caceres is much younger and faster with quicker reactions.

I checked the meaning of this word, Pep. Will this "boludo" abandon Barca's ship this summer?

Hey!

Does any one know if Barca will appeal against Muniesa's red card?

I think the defensive line should be;
Caceres-Puyol-Pique-Sylvinho

Caceres is a more natural RB with pace, and although hes getting on a bit, i still think Sylvinho can manage the LB position without getting knackered, plus hes got loads of experience. If he shows signs of tiredness towards the end of the game, then bring on Keita in his position.

@Marc

FC Barcelona on Monday presented arguments to the Competition Committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to appeal the expulsion of Pep Guardiola and Marc Muniesa to Osasuna.

i hope it would work and will be able to let muniesa play against depor!

There's no indication so far that Milito would leave, House.

I hope to see...

Right to Left:

Caceres-Puyol-Pique-Sylvinho
Xavi-Toure-Iniesta
Messi-Etoo-Henry

That is the most natural line up we can field. I would rather be strongest in the center than to play people out of position. Toure is too important at DM. Caceres has EPL type pace and this is why we signed him. Sylvinho is experienced and will keep himself in good positions.

United switches so you can't really say "put Caceres on Ronaldo's side" because Ronaldo drifts wherever he likes.

Substitute Keita for Iniesta if he can't go. If Henry can't go, put Iniesta there and start Keita and LCM. If neither Henry or Iniesta can go, put Messi on the left. Start Bojan on the right.
