fcbee said...: The whole team was very solid. Touré and henry maybe less, but the others were so impressive. Even Sylvinho was so accurate, he was really up to the occassion. But for me this one is for Eto'o. His goal decided the game.

Søren Mortensen said...: I voted Puyol, I agree that it was a team effort, most did very well. I my eyes Pique, Xavi and Iniesta where a cut above, with Puyol being the best. He neutralized Booney in the first half and the fake Ronaldo in the second. Besides that, especially in the second half, he was as offensive as Alves.

Anonymous said...: i voted for Sylvinho because he was outstanding, he was the oldest one on the pitch, he kept Rooney and Park out of the game the whole night, he attacked very well, 100% complete passes.
The whole team did great job, the like of Xavi, Iniesta, Messi.. did well as always but i wasn't expecting Sylvinho to be that good, it was a bless to have in the finale instead of Abidal, not that Abidal is not good but he's too physical some times and makes lot of faults near the box, just what Man U like, Sylvinho is not strong like Abidal but he's finest defender and better forward. BARCA PLEASE GIVE HIM ANOTHER YEAR, HE STILL WANT TO PLAY.
BIG UP FOR THE BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD AND THE BEST BARCA EVER.

reminds me of doc rivers thoroughly outcoaching phil jackson in the nba finals last season. Everyone expected Sir Alex to come up with a brilliant move, but his team looked completely disorganized and reactive after the 6th minute on.; 28 May, 2009

Not just for the assist to the first goal and the linkup with Xavi that strangled Man U in midfield but also for his defensive work. I reckon he won the ball back a minimum of 7 times. In fact I am pretty sure he won the ball the most number of times between both teams.; 28 May, 2009
