Barcelona right back defender and Brazilian international Daniel Alves (25) has put out an official statement denying the rumours linking him with a summer move to the English Premier League (read more here).
The statement unconfirmedly reads as follows: "Daniel Alves was informed through a newspaper of the presumed interest in him by Chelsea. No person of the entourage of the player knows anything about this and the player got to know the news through the press. It's important to deny the rumours because we don't want to give people a wrong idea about the issue."
