British tabloid The Daily Mirror claims that Barcelona is interested in Aston Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sörensen (31). Barcelona would want to bring in a real competitor for first choice keeper Víctor Valdés (26). The Danish international is only third choice at Aston Villa and has the permission to talk to foreign clubs since his contract expires in June and the club doesn't plan to make him a renewal offer. Barcelona could sign Sorensen on a free transfer in the next few weeks.

Why did they renew Jorquera. With Pinto (or this guy) and a good young goalie we would have been fine.

What is Barcelona doing by being interested in these goalkeepers that are like 30yrs old;they should go for someone younger to challenge Valdes with like G.Ochoa(America),M.Neuer(Schalke),K.Schmichel(Manchester City) or even M.Stenkelenberg(Ajax) so please Barcelona make the right choice ok.
