sao paulo killed his career
Well, they have certainly damaged it. A player gets to a point where they have to move to improve. This, or next year, is the time.
I think they're hoping that now that he's in the frame, he'll kick ass at Sao Paulo and be worth even more next season.
All I know is that I wouldn't want to be around Hernanes right about now, I bet he's one pissed off rattlesnake!...In the end not only has Sao Paulo practically killed his career, (or at least the momentum) but they have "cheated" themselves in the process as well. They are pinning their hopes that "a" team will make either a quick swoop of the player before the summer transfer window ends, or hold out to next year assuming that his value may increase. Either way it's still a gamble on their part. I know I may be sounding bias in that Sao Paulo should have sold Hernanes to Barcelona because I'm a Barcelona supporter. Truth is that even if Real Madrid were involved, (while I would hate to see Hernanes go to them) it would have been the "right" thing to do for Sao Paulo and for the future of the lad's career. Hernanes needs to break free from Sao Paulo one way or another - and not a minute too soon.
if he's gone what about neves? we should definately buy him if price is under 16 mil, regardless of who else we sign as he will then have time to settle and prosper the next season. barca have enough quality, now we need more attacking potenial as defence seems sorted out.
