Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona Atlètic (previously known as Barcelona B) left winger Jeffren Suárez (20), who has started this week the pre-season with the first team (read more here), will leave the club if he won't be able to stay with the first team for the rest of the season.
Jeffren thinks that playing with Barcelona Atlètic in the Spanish third division wouldn't be good for his development and wants to go a step higher.
If the Venezuela born player can't convince Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola to add him permanently to the first team squad, Jeffren prefers to leave and could then end up in a Spanish second division team.

Just what this teams needs - another 'Dos Santos' "headache"!
Every young, "promising" player now feels he has a sense of entitlement to set the course of his career by his own timetable even if his "time" at the club is not at hand. Not that I wish any personal failure for Jeffren - but one of these lads needs to fall flat on their face and fail miserably otherwise this "trend" is only going to continue and get more out of hand. While I admire the ambitiousness of these young lads, their bodies, physical skills and mental toughness are not yet developed. These are young men, (boys in some cases) are throwing themselves "into the fire" against grown men when they are clearly not ready. The risk that they could do irreperable harm to their careers is far greater than the "instant" success and gratification they would receive if they "make it". It's just not worth the risk. And in most cases the players themselves have no one around to provide a "voice of reason" because their fathers and agents are aggresively steering them in the same direction. Unfortunately, the only way I see things ever changing is one of these lads will have to take the bullet in order to set the example of how a once promising career can turn into disaster in a blink of an eye. That's the only way I see these lads, their fathers and their agents opening their eyes to the possible reality and finally taking notice.
I dont agree with all this hatred towards Gio Dos Santos. The fact is that his agent = Pini Zahavi. He's the same agent that Ashley Cole used to move from Arsenal to Chelsea. Pini wants money money money and loves to corrupt players into thinking about getting moves just so that he gets a fee. I bet if Pini wasnt Gio's agent, he'd still be at Barcelona.
