No incoming or outgoing transfers planned

Asked about the interest from other clubs in some Barcelona players who have enjoyed little playing time so far this season, like Barcelona goalkeeper Albert Jorquera, Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain has repeated to journalists that the club doesn't plan any transfer activity during the winter transfer window:

"Barcelona isn't looking to do any transfer in January. We don't want a player of the current squad to leave because that would mean that we should sign another player and we haven't planned this. Besides that, no player has informed us about his wish to leave the club this transfer period."

I think we should not sleep in the market because we are having a really great season. We could have the best starting XI in Europe (as player quality). But the bench needs to be improved.I think Eboue is a great player and he is a team player(premiership watchers know this). We can loan Bojan now as he is not getting so much minutes now.(Best for him and us)

Also, we need a backup for the Henry-Etoo-Messi trio (other than Bojan and Hleb). We should go for tevez knowing his current contract problems(can fit perfectly in the Barca system because he works hard and is young and very skillful).

Forget about aguero.Messi is better than him 1000 times.Tevez is young also and he can play anywhere in attack unlike aguero (He is very good but not top player and he will cost us a lot and his transfer is complicated).

At least Eboue and Tevez. We can spend now and buy these players on the cheap(relatively) instead of buying at June.

What do u think ?
Keep in mind that we are playing on 3 championships and our league rivals have 2 competitions.
Real madrid prob. will be beaten by Liverpool and will pressure us in the Liga.

I agree absolutely with you guys. There is a ridiculous story about Theo Walcott also. Why not to go for Walcott ? (He can be bought for less than 1 m euros due to contract issues).
I totally agree about Tevez and Eboue. We will have a great squad and our only summer signing could be David Silva or Hernanes to help us form a team who can conquer trophies for several years.

I think a reinforcement is needed in the attack and Tevez is perfect and better than Aguero(can dribble the ball better than aguero and is quicker).
Look at Man Utd strikers: Tevez-Rooney-Ronaldo-Berbatov-Nani
and they bought a new hot prospect Zoran Tosic during this window.

We should move during this market.
We sold ronaldinho and didn't get a replacement.

Isn't Eboue a RB?? Where are the priorities?? We need a LB and decent back up GK. Tevez would be ok but he would be swapping one bench for another. Besides he said he wants to join Madrid. I don't think he is that great. If he was so fantastic Man Utd would have tied him down by now. He would give us depth but I don't know if he would suit our style of play. We do need to get a left sided player and the priority should be Ribery or Aguero. If we can't get either of these then Silva would be another good option. Bojan should stay and be given a chance.

...sorry guys, but i totally disagree with ya...this team and also the coach showed all of us that they can move something...even with milito injured and also when messi, iniesta, marquez or any other wasn't available...so it could be a mistake to bring some new,it could destroy the rythm and also isn't worthy...about eboue...it has a good reason why he's nearly for free, because of his poor performances at arsenal so far...we have enough defenders at the moment and some who can play this position also like v. sanchez or puyol and caceres who can also cover the rb-position...just hope for next summer that we could bring a new striker or better david silva for the left and let henry realize his dream and go to usa...but til' then hope things stay put and henry going on like now...ONE LOVE!!!!!...ramzi...think this time we both have the same opinion 'bout this,or not...keep it up,blaugrana...

Guys, this is real life and not Football Manager. We should be happy with the football we play and the players we have, who might take us very far this season. Especially in times of a credit crisis, stop your wet dreams and be happy that Barca is making profits and doing great on the pitch.
