Spanish football site Fichajes claims that Barcelona is interested in Olympique Marseille goalkeeper and French international Steve Mandanda (23).
French reports would claim that Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola wants to sign a substitute for Barcelona goalkeeper Víctor Valdés and that the club is closely following Mandanda. The Barcelona board would already be studying the option of transferring the Congolese-born Frenchman.

He is okay. He has done pretty well in the games for Merseille. I think Kameni on a free transfer is probably a better option. These keepers are at about the same level. If we want a freebie we should go for Kameni, if we want to spend money Asenjo and Akinfeev are better options.
