Barcelona's medical staff has announced that Barcelona central defender Rafael Márquez (29), who was substituted during the second half of yesterday's league game againt Mallorca, couldn't take part in this morning's training session because of a contracture of his left hamstring.
Although a muscle injury has been excluded, Márquez, who was already left out of the match list for the last game of 2008 against Villarreal because of an overburdening of the hamstrings of his left thigh, is uncertain for the cup game against Atlético Madrid on Tuesday.
