Hesitating between 6 and 7. On the long term, it could be a great transfer (even more so given the fee we've paid) since he should be the succesor of Marquez as defender who can launch the attck. He has the chance, it's now up to him to grab it. Let's say 7.
i voted pique a 9,i think in the friendly matches he showed how good he is . the thing is he was a player needed in our team and we got him cheap,we didnt have anyone tall enough to mark a player like crouch so here is where pique comes in. also pique is young has cl expirience and is scoring goals with headers too in corners. i think man utd did a mistake letting pique out for only 5mill,thats a steal hehe.
forgot to say his teqnique isnt bad too,his passes are on target and his long balls arent like marquez's but some of them are good.
i expect alot from this lad and think he will be a first 11 player in the near future
I give him a perfect 10. I was sceptic about him before the pre-season, but he's been really solid in all the games so far, much more than Caceres. But that's expected, as the leap from Recreativo to Barca is huge compared to that from ManU. Would have voted a 8-9 based on his talent alone, but he loves Barca so he get's a perfect score.
I didn't cast my vote because in Pique's case there's really not a lot of body of work to go by. Based on the addition itself I would give it a "5". The "potential" is there for it to become much higher but then again we are talking about the dreaded potential word.
I certainly think he's matured a great deal since his youth days at the club, but even his opportunities at Manchester United were few and far between. Ok, I'll at least admit he didn't look awfull, but he didn't look great either. He looked, well, just "ok".
Time and consistent playing time will tell if Pique truly turns into a gem. At least he'll have the support of the Barcelona faithfull strongly behind him as a favoured "son".
For the sake of the club I hope he succeeds, but the prospect of filling Puyol's shoes someday will be a daunting task for anyone, I just hope Pique will be up for the challenge.

i think he will be great over a few years.
I gave him a 9. He didn't cost too much and is a big prospect for the future!
He is a good player that plays in many diffrent positions I give him an 8.

the lad deserves no more than a 6 so far looking at his performances on a scale of Messi = 10 & Abidal = 4.
