Barcelona Atlètic attacker and Jordanian international Thaer Fayed Bawab (23) has been testing with Dutch second division club Go Ahead Eagles from August 15 till August 20 but wasn't offered a contract in the end.
Go Ahead manager Andries Ulderink said to Dutch local newspaper De Stentor that Thaer wasn't really what the club was looking for: "Thaer is an excellent player on the wing or behind the strikers but we're more looking for a target man."
Thaer, who arrived from Real Madrid B in Januray 2007 and whose contract with Barcelona expires in the summer of 2009, played last season on loan with Spanish third division club Hospitalet and can leave Barcelona this transfer window.
