I still hope for a surprise signing for th left wing. There will happen a lot those last days, I think, so hope Barcelona pays attention.
Well with Arshavin's move to Tottenham practically dead in the water there's still the slightest chance he could move to Barcelona if Zenit comes to their senses.
Moving Arshavin at this stage would make much more sense for Zenit because even though "technically" they don't have to let him go, moving him would be doing the "right thing" for all parties involved.
Zenit get's some cash back (not that they need it), Barcelona get's an all-in-one left winger/secondary striker/"playmaker" and Arshavin is finally made "visible" to a grand audience, on a much bigger stage for all the world to see. Not only will it serve as a great accomplishment for him, but I'm sure it will bring a great source of civic pride to his people back home in Russia.
A possible storybook ending for Andrei, playing for his boyhood favorite team, his dreams no longer a fairytale but now a reality. I can only imagine other young Russian boys as they go to bed at night dreaming the same dream, but this time having Arshavin as their idol, and knowing that dreams can indeed come true.
