I hope some people will be rested before the first game of the Liga. Pinto in goal, Bojan must start, Hleb too, Sylvinho, why not Piqué-Cáceres at the back? Use the squad, Pep!

My tactical structure:)
When team get the ball, Piqué drop deep to act as a third CB beside Puyol and Cáceres, giving sylvinho the chance to push forward opening the left flank combining with pedro.
in front of defensive trio, kieta guide the field, gudi open to the right flank, bojan cut inside as a second striker with henry, while hleb handle the ball distribution job.
when loosing the ball, gudi back to midfield and the forward trio plus gudi and hleb set up high pressure on Wisla team, while defensive trio plus keita secure the depth...
piece of cake, i know...its just my fantasies....

go to rojadirecta.com and click the barca match, there are several no p2p links you can click from there.

Confirmed starting Eleven from El Mundo Deportivo: Valdes, Alves, Pique, Puyol, Abidal; Toure, Keita, Xavi, Iniesta, Eto'o and Henry. Excited to see Toure and Keita partner up because against Fiorentina they were monsters.

that was bloody awful. alright their were 4-0 up but that was a really poor performance, well done wisla but i'm really not happy with barca, add that and the boca performance and we seem to be incapable of playing without messi, which is worrying. the defence and valdes looked ropey as hell, keita was non-existent, none of the forward players looked threatening, some of the chances missed beggered believe. they need a LFW and LB and GK or we are not going to chalenge for the league let alone CL. hope there are improvements against numancia because we just been embarrassed in front of all of europe.

Puyol suck's he shouldnt have even started he's one of the worse defender's barcelona have who care's if he's 'catalan'he's not at his best and he hasnt been for a while now but some of you naive ppl will make excuses for him!!

What the fuck!!!
We lost in the worst possible moment.
At the beginning of La Liga which is bad,but I hope that Guardiola knows how to handle this things.

You guys are funny. Funny fans with outrageous comments like Puyol sucks blah blah. Don't be stupid. My only gripe about this game is that I felt Hleb should have started over somebody. He's a very positive player who is always looking to create chances and this would have been the perfect game for him to start. Please people stop being so drastic. It should have been 3-1 us if we had finish those point blank chances.

here we r...same spoiled fans...again and again...

Ok that was bad, but you guys need to calm down a bit. First of all, Wisla probably had the best game of their lives, while Barca knew the job was done last week. Yes we could have played better and the players did not give anywhere near their best, but really what do you expect with absolutely nothing to play for? We won this tie already and this game was just a formality, one last friendly. Everybody is getting ready for the start of the league campaign on Sunday and they want to be fresh for the game that matters. Quite frankly i dont blame them for not having the foot on the peddle. All that being said, after we conceded we were unlucky not to equalise if not win. There were more than a few chances that went begging, we hit the post and we had a few BS offside decisions. I think this loss could be a good thing in that it will ground the players a bit and it highlights to Pep some of our weaknesses while he can still do something about it.

And stop being so dramatic......We won the first leg 4-0 without Messi not to mention all the friendlies before that so saying we cant play without Messi at this stage is a bit premature.

the 'playing without messi' is also applied to the last 2 seasons. yes the players may have been thinking about numancia and we should have scored three but with the greatest respect to wisla, who were phenomenal, barca's 1st team minus messi should be able to beat krakow playing at 60%. playing defensive, holding football is not barca way so this was just lack of effort which i dont like in any player. if they were thinking about numancia then pep should have played other players looking to impress. probably was a one of but worrying all the same

I can see where ur coming from SJP, but to be fair we could have won this game had luck been on our side. Sometimes football is a game of luck as much as it is a game of skill. Sometimes it just doesnt happen and I am more than happy for it not to go right in what amounts to a pre-season friendly. If we had to win this game then we would have. I can see why you are slightly worried, but I wouldnt worry if i were u. At least wait till Sunday and see what our first league game produces.

As for the Messi comment you cannot include the last 2 years. Different manger, different mentality, different players. You can only judge this team on the preseason they have had so far. It is unfair to say "this team" and include the last two years.

I guess we're all set to have Numancia give us a very tough fight :P

Calm down, everyone. Valdes made some great saves, or the scoreline could have been worse. Unfortunately, what we saw is what you tend to see with teams: Sometimes, it's just hard to get motivated. Rolling into Wisla's home with a 4-0 lead probably stuck in a lot of guys' minds.

There were a few very good chances. Henry's cross to Eto'o, who skied the header, the Henry shot at the far post, Krkic's panic attack in front of goal. But that's life.

I agree with someone's comment that Iniesta slows the game down too much. That's what he always does, though. His fans will claim it's a benefit somehow. He can, and does play one-touch football. It's one way that you know he's on. But for my money, he's a player you have to give a quick hook to if he's off. Otherwise things just congeal.

But there was too much fooling around with the ball in general. Valdes was dribbling, and wound up having to force a pass. Abidal tried some dorky little flick that bounced off a defender and created danger. It was just one of those matches.

It was good to see Alves back and in good form. Henry looked good, so did Yaya. Keita is slowly coming into the side. It's going to be a good campaign.

valdes was actually good.. puyol has nothing to do withe the goal.. had a defferend player to mark.. or area.. imo i think keita and iniesta played if not bad not good enougth..
and i agree we needed hleb or bojan erlyer on the field.. not in eto'o place.. i would have changed hleb with keita and bojan with iniesta..
kempe..
