Asked about the rumours linking Porto central defender and Portuguese international Bruno Alves (27) with a move to Barcelona (read more here), the player's father Washington Alves has confirmed the interest of Barcelona in an interview with Barcelona radio station Radio Barcelona:
"Bruno feel immensely honoured by the interest of Barcelona. This interest is actually not surprising since other clubs are also following him. I'm sure Bruno would fit very well in this super team."
In an interview with Catalan radio station Ona FM, Washington Alves also commented on the issue: "When they would reach an agreement with Porto, they won't have problems finding a deal with Bruno, especially because we're talking about a club like Barcelona."

no thanks...another CB?
whats up with Barca piling up one CB after another...
we have a lot of quantity and could use a little bit more QUALITY...he won't play in Barca...just like Hleb.
I don't understand. Do we really need another CB?
we dont need him...we already have Puyol, Pique, Marquez, Caceres, Milito wil be fit soon. And next season Henrique wil be coming back.
i think its for marquez, incase
barca feel he is not up to par no more, since his last injury he was not been himself and i cant remember marquez not getting injured atleast once every season
and alves is experienced, and good with the ball unline puyol =)
so basicly a new marquez =)
not bad... fo next season,
i luv marquez and the best crosser since frank de boer and koeman.
but he is not consistent anymore.
yeah yeah we got caceres, pique, milito and Henrique, but non of them offer what marquez offers , cause we all know .. our CB have the ball ALOT compared to other teams CB, ...
