Madrid tabloid Marca claims that Barcelona is considering the transfer of Liverpool defensive midfielder Javier Mascherano (23). The Argentinian would have been offered to the club and the technical staff likes the player. Because the economical intentions of investment group MSI, owner of the player's transfer rights, aren't clear for the moment, Barcelona is waiting to put a first step.

We have Touré so why should we spend 25-30 million to this guy? He's good, but we have other priorities now.

I have to say I like him a lot. In a 4-4-2 he would be great next to Touré. But I think with our squad that wouldn't be an option, whoever will be our coach next season.
