My five Cents:
- We roved today we can play the counter perfectly, the first two goals were initiated from the back, something we need to remember for the CL away games.
- Caceres will get a pang of confidence after this game.
- Alves, the name tells all the story.
- Busquets: almost a perfect game, if we ignored the over dribbling from time to time.
- Eto'o scored twice and made lot of effort, but he is not enjoying as before.
- the goal we conceded was basically iniesta Fault, you clear a confusing ball to the sideline and not to the middle (yes he had that choice) but you forgive him after the brilliant game he played. it was also - in the second place- the responsibility of our player who is responsible to guard the edge of our area - Xavi? it was an impossible shot for Valdes. But its good to do this kind of mistakes now so the technical staff can lecture about it and make sure we don't do it when it may cost dearly.
- in the first Goal, a credit must be given to Iniesta, its not easy to be faster WITh the ball than the player chasing you ball free, he passed the ball just in the right timing and he is smart to plan it, an earlier pass to henry means slowing down the counter because henry is not as fast with the ball between his feet, while delaying it for a minute will close the angle for the cross. Iniesta actually dictated the cross henry made, it became the obvious option.
- Henry played one of his best games, but he also made the most ugly expression I have seen from barcelona player this season, and thats when Eto'o took that shot.
- It was so great the way Barcelona fans cheered for Gijon coach for this game who is the player that scored the 3000th goal for barcelona.
That's what I wanna see from Caceres, although he's not very confident in the 1st half, but in the 2nd half he rules the back line. Hope he continues with this performance so we have good options available. Good analysis as always by Ramzi, thank God you make it short :D .IMO it's kinda relax game (or sometimes I feel like everyone's not having a good mood, by the way they're playing and with their expressions, especially Messi, Eto'o and Henry), Pep don't wanna risk any player of course, and it's only Sporting Gijon. And we won it with style. We should've scored more, but that's enough, as long as we win while RM still struggling to catch up with our tempo. Visca el Barça!!!
Add that Barça Atlètic beat leaders Villareal B 3-2 it was a great day.
Ramzi & Noszebleed..
i just want to know what was henry's expression ..iactually did not notice any thing ...can you guys please tell me what was it ... thank you guys
Ramzi:
It was Xavi not Iniesta who headed the ball when we conceded the goal.
Positives from the game:
- Ceseras was solid throughout the game.
- Abidal continues to improve defensively, although I wish he would go forward more when we play against weak teams.
- Eto'o back to scoring ways
- Iniesta and Alves continue to impress.
Negatives:
- Messi, Eto'o and Henry seem to be not enjoying things as they were at the first have of the season. Maybe they're looking forward to the CL.
- Biscuits, although a very talented player, still needs to avoid excessive dribbling that leads to losing the ball. Especially since he's at the middle of the pitch and losing the ball there leads to dangerous counter attacks.
