British tabloid The Sun claims that Barcelona and West Ham are close to agreeing a loan deal for Barcelona attacker and Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen (30).
Because the Eglish Premier League club would be in no financial position to agree a 6 million euros° permanent deal for Gudjohnsen, Barcelona would be willing to accept a one-year loan.
Barcelona sources would have told the tabloid that the only thing that still needs to be solved is how much West Ham will pay towards the player's wages (read more here).

Read some where which quoted Txiki as saying we will be signing only CB and winger and signing a mid-fielder is totally ruled out. At least we are not short on mid-filed until ACN, isn't it?
