They sure are excited about him..."He was perfect" that's little bit too optimistic.He played well but we haven't seen the best from him yet,I think.

This of course is a paper you would use for toilet paper. I would know I've worked with them. So it wouldn't reflect on all swedes. However Zlatan playing for Barca is of course a huge conversation topic here.
I agree with Robert on the topic. The media coverage in Sweden is not at all about Barca, but about Zlatan. The TV and papers are only interested in Zlatans efforts, not the teams. But who blames them , it's his name that sells the paper - not Barcas. Tho i must say it takes ridiculous proportions at some times. Theyre speculating in how Zlatan looked during the warm up, who he was talking to...etc etc.
I'm sure that in Catalonia they are more interested in Swedish girls.
And we all thought Swedes were cool down-to-earth people...
They are, we Scandinavians in general are, but the press tends to blow things out of proportion at times.
Swedes are totally different from us grumpy Finns...there's now more reasons to mope when our javelin throwers flopped seriously in world championships :(
The whole Zlatan-story has taken ridicuolus proportions over here. That's part of the reason why I odn't like him..
my god...I was hoping that the infamous swedish jealousy would stay within the swedish border...but obviously I was wrong. for you guys getting the impression that Zlatan isn´t all that popular in Sweden I can only say; please don´t listen to all these racist ass holes trash talking him. Zlatan is extremely popular in Sweden and we are all really proud that we have a swedish top player. and when aftonbladet wrote that hi made a perfect match they were actually quoting pep guardiola.
Tero: It was, according to the paper Aftonbladet Guardiola that had said that Ibra was perfect or rather that he had made a perfect (first) match. It's not Aftonbladets evaluation of Ibras performance in the game.
To Alex: According to you anyone criticizing Ibra as a football player is a racist asshole?
Are you really so incredibly stupid? The way I see it the only asshole here is you.
You and all the other Ibra lovers has to accept the fact that everybody has the right to think whatever they want about Ibra regardless of what they think.
