Speaking at a press conference today, Shaktar manager Mircea Lucescu has confirmed the transfer of Shakhtar Donetsk defender and Ukrainian international Dmytro Chygrynskiy (22) to Barcelona:
"I can confirm the transfer of Chygrynskiy. I have talked with the president and it is a fact. He will play tomorrow with us and then he will join Barcelona.
It's an honour for a club like Shakhtar that a big club like Barça has signed him. When Barça wants a player, it's impossible to reject this. Chygrynskiy will show all his qualities at Barça. The only one who loses here is me. Barça wins because they get a great player, the president of Shakhtar gets a good sum of money and the player goes to the European champions."

Why are you all confused about his name? I really don't get it.
We could just skip those Y's and go for:
Chigrinski. Not difficult really. Chigri is another option. But Dima is very simple.
Just pronounce it the way you want. Or do you think you're pronouncing Guardiola right?

And yet we have bought another big money flop. Poor Barca...
Puyol has already announced that we hasn't got any desire to loose his place for a 22-year old newbee. In fact Puyol and Pique will play most of the matches. That's it.
All in all we lost 25 mio. €.
C'mon now anony. As much as I disagree with the price, I can see his worth if he does deliver.
Remember he agrees to a low salary by our standards. As for Puyol, he's not getting any younger or better. Dima..hehe.. is only 22.While he still learns the ropes here, Puyol can still be 1st choice. By the time Puyol withdrew his place Dima can fully take over for years to come.
As for Guardiola, I think spanish ppl pronounce G and J as H. I could be wrong tho.

Gwar-di-o-la, stress on the 'o'.
And the 'r' is definitely not silent...
