Laporta optimistic about Chygrynskiy transfer

Asked about the renewed rumours linking Shakhtar defender and Ukrainian international Dmytro Chygrynskiy (22) with a move to Barcelona (read more here), Barcelona president Joan Laporta has said in an interview with Catalan television channel TV3 that he thinks a deal will be closed this summer:

"It's a complicated transfer. Chygrynskiy is the favourite player of the owner of the club, Rinat Akhmetov. And besides that, they want to have Ukrainian defenders in their team. They have asked us a lot of money but we are negotiating and I think that in the end we will find an agreement. He's not just a player fancied by the coach, he's necessary to strengthen the squad."

Neither Suarez nor Capel are Barça- type players . They are too selfish . They are also shameless divers !!

It'll be interesting to see if Txiki does indeed sign Dmytro and if he does it before the match on Friday

Looks like it's a done deal, but probably it won't be official until the end of the super cup.

Where is Milito?...lol...He's hanging out with Jimmy Hoffa last I heard

chriginski wouldnt be able to play CL with barca, since he played for shaktar already -> dont get him.

promote fontas and get a proper left winger as back up for the visibly aging henry

I hope this dosnt meen we wont get a winger

shouldn't we loan out henrique or sell him because it seems like guardiola dosn't have faith in him. we have to buy a midfielder beacuse once the africa cup begins we're screwed

i think its done deal...
sometimes we can see rafa or pique playing DM and Yaya OMF this season maybe.

The obsession with this Ukrainian from Donetsk is very strange, I have to say.

They make him like Nesta or Maldini!
He better be good when he's come.

I'm pretty sure that if you played in the qualifying stages of a team and not the group stage, you can play for a different team in the knockout rounds as long as he doesn't play in the first team in the group stages.

He got into the u-21 euro championship team of the tournament in 2006, so he apparently had class back then as well.

Here's what UEFA site says:

"Centre-back: Dmytro Chygrynskiy (Ukraine)
With his long hair and socks rolled halfway down his calves, Ukraine's No6 resembles a graduate from the 1970s school of hard knocks. Appearances, though, can be deceptive: the FC Shakhtar Donetsk centre-half is still only 19. There is silk to complement the colossal Chygrynskiy's steely looks, and it was a common sight to see him striding purposefully out of defence and, with an accurate pass, moving Ukraine's sphere of operations further upfield."

GO get Vincent Kompany from Manchester City! He can play at the back and as midfielder and is much better than Chygrynskiy. I realy would like to see him play at the back of our already magic defence...

he is available for knockout round if we get him right?

we will sigh him about 25M tommorow
reported by Sport.
also he won't play friday against us
and his salary will be cut to play for Barca.
he may be presented(probably on saturday) as new barcelona player.

Talking about selfish divers, some people want Robben to join Barca.I don't want Madrid trash. He probably goes to ManU,because they need another diver and crybaby since Crissy Ron left ManU
