Valdés

Alves, Márquez, Piqué, Córcoles

Víctor Vázquez, Busquets, Pedrito

Messi, Henry y Gudjohnsen

What a strange team...

Adding: this is how Sport describes it. Maybe Pedrito (who is a winger) and Gudjohnsen should change places?

bojan is fucking good striker, he comes in and scores, I cant understand how can a child be so proffessional.

i agree Bojan is one of my favorite players!!! he seems to always amaze me for only being 17!

I remember the first time I saw Bojan play for the 1st team, I didn't actually know too much about him. The first shot he took was a fucking CANNON, like a man just took the shot, not a 17 year old child. God I can't wait to see this kid grow up..

FULL TIME
Barcelona win 6-0
messi and alves were brilliant in the first and best went to messi.

Goals from gudjohnson(2), messi, pedro, bojan and toure

This will be promising when the season kicks off as barca played a style of football that hasnt been seen for quite some time. They played an attacking style that represented that of an EPL team.

Mes que un club

FC Barcelona (6) - Hibernian (0) !!!!!! What a fucking Start!...

nice performance in 1st appearance, but the opponent was really weak
Messi , Alves = Burning opponents left side
Youth players = good performance , especially no. 5, 17, & 8.
Keita , Caceras were good, but Hleb, Eto'o , Henry did not do well

Great! Guddy has a good showing in a meaningless pre-season game against a bunch of scrubs from the tavern league and we all should hail him as the next Alan Shearer!

Nice to see this.
We demolished them and I am now starting to think that Guardiola knows what he is doing.

From a number of clips I've seen, Pedrito looks good on that left wing flank...
Pep, what do you think, you've obviously seen more of him than I over the years. What type of player is he: speedy, technical, and how good are his crosses?

pep said...

I didn't see him play before, cause I actually just started to follow Barça B a little more by setting up this blog but still.

He's fast and good in one-on-one and I tend to think he has a good cross cause he used to take free kicks and corner kicks at Barcelona B.

Certainly after his last night's performance he looks to be the "B guy" with the most chances to make it to the first team.

It's a simple fact we have a shortage of players who can play on the wing. You have Messi, that is one. Hleb could be your second man, both left or right.

You can use Iniesta on the left. Henry can play there too but he doesn't like it and Guardiola said he will use him as centre forward.

Even when you would get a first class left winger later this summer, it looks like there's certainly a place for one more back-up there, with Ronaldinho, Ezquerro and Giovani having left.

So then Pedrito, who is left footed but used to play on the right with Barcelona B, looks like a logical solution.
