i still don't understand how giovani can be sold for just 6(+5)million... i'm sure they could have easily got 15 million or more... lets see how high his value is in a few years and then the board will certainly regret this...

barca told giovani that he's welcome to join barca again in future.

see it from that view:
giovani can improve hisself and if many clubs are about to sign him, than barca have better chances because they have to pay less. 10%-20% of the transfer fee is barcas guaranteed portion.

6 months later dos was free.. so 6+5+20% for a guy who has not developd a as expected and who whanted a first 11 spot in the first hear is not bad!!

what is the best case and worst case mean ??

Best case is if we get all the possible variables and we don't have to pay any ourselves, so that is 87,5 minus 62,25.

Worst case is the opposite, we have to pay all possible variables but we don't get any variables from the players we have sold, so that is 98,5 minus 49.

It should be noted that Giovani himself wanted to leave. Pep wanted to keep him, but Gio is set on playing as a starter. He is not ready for that yet at Barca. I think it could take him a while to adapt to the Premier League, but Ramos will certainly help the adjustment. He has no guarantee of playing time at Tottenham either as the Spurs are looking at both Bentley and Arshavin as wide players, both of whom would obviously be ahead of Gio in the pecking order.

in a way the board hasn't done that badly with signings, with amounts paid and recieved we have paid 39 mil for 7 new players, which include the best right back in the world, one of the best all round midfielders in la liga in keita plus lots of good young talented defenders. not sure about pinto though. just hope they get a good no 9, preferably ade because of his age and a good left winger, silva/arsharvin/neves, no real preference
