It's a great comment no doubt, and a complete reversal from Rijkaard's softer, gentler, stance. As we all witnessed when Frank began his reign at the club his "players coach" style really won over the players, initially. But as the team garnered success and silverware they became a bunch of 'fat cats' and got lazy and complacent to the point of eventually abusing the freedom that Frank had afforded them.
My only concern is how long is it going to be before the players beging to 'revolt' against Pep's "tough love" style? He is demanding and seen as more of a 'task master'- while that may be the tonic this team needs at this point I worry that a similar fate may befall Pep down the line as well.
great post pep and a great comment cojundo, yes this is true but like all managers if pep wins silverware it will not matter becuase the players will respect him for his management and see his achivements.
do you honestly think most of the chelsea squad liked mourinho's style of coaching or indeed playing style?? deep down probably not but the players knew in mou they had a coach who brought titles and silverware to them, the same can go for pep if he achieves similar feats.

If you hear or read somewhere an interesting or funny or whatever quote relating to Barcelona, let me know!
Oh, I love it! If he continues to treat them like this, I think we're gonna win everything. Rijkaard was to relaxed... These guys need a strong arm.
I heard he made all of the players run from the hotel to the training facility every day.

"Please can someone help me out of Rio Ferdinands back pocket, pretty please!"
Samual Eto'o, unwanted striker of FC Barcelona, Champions League Semi Final, Tuesday April 29th.
