Maradona: "Messi makes quicker progress than I"

Speaking to Argentinian radio station FM Palermo, Argentina national team coach and former Barcelona player Diego Maradona had said that the career of Barcelona player Messi is going faster than his own:

"Lio has made progress a lot quicker than I did. He didn't have serious injuries. While I played for Barcelona, I suffered hepatitis and I broke my ankle. I couldn't be as consistent as Messi is now."
