Chygrynskiy confirms transfer to Barcelona

Speaking at a press conference today, Shakhtar Donetsk defender and Ukrainian international Dmytro Chygrynskiy (22) has confirmed his transfer to Barcelona:

"Tomorrow it will be a very special game for me. It will be my last game with the shirt of Shakhtar. After that, I will leave for Barça.

For every football player, without any exception, the dream of a lifetime is to play for a team like Barça. I feel proud that they have signed me and that Barça has insisted until the end to be able to count on my services."

Welcome Dima! Hope you win many fans & friends with your performances on the pitch & won't miss your home very much. You'll be treated as a prince even here at the best club in the world, just give it your best shot. ALL THE VERY BEST

Finaly we got him. It seems like Robben will move to Bayer for 25 million. If we could get him for 35 million, that would be fantastic, but only if Perez is so crazy to sell him to us.

VdVaart + Robben + some money could get them Ribery this summer. If not this year, he'll go to Real next year.

I dont get it.. Robben is better than Ribery, its the same with the consument of Benzema, they already have another , better player, in that case , Higuain. We dont have any substitutes that holds class, thats why we need him. They just buy without bounds.

Robben is better, I agree (for me he's even better than Cristiano, although he seems to have difficulties against big teams, Cristiano seems to have the same problem), but he's also more injured and therefore you can't really count on them.

Why are we discussing about players whom we will never be interested in!?

PD said...

will he be able to play champions league for us if he plays in the super cup on friday??

SJP said...

dont understand the respect for robben, really, really over-rated player, selfish, one-trick pony that spends more time on the floor whinging than actually producing anything meaningful, hang on a minute i've confused myself am i talking about robben or ronaldo!?!

the only madrid players that are worth a damn are casillas, higuian and snejider. we wont ever get casillas, higuian not this year but maybe after a frustrating season for him next summer, snejider is possible but we probably dont have the money that they would demand, fuck the rest, not worthy of our shirt.

Uhm, we are interested in Robben as Laporta confirmed last week. It's just that Madrid will never sell to us.

great to see another transfer on the way.lets see if pep is actually right on this one.

Andréssibraviqué said...

Laporta just brushed away Robben's topic in a very dignified manner. he couldn't say on the journalist's face that Robben ain't worth shit and we'd never be interested in him

This is a Dima topic! Focus on Dima.

Robben is the most dangerous player on Madrid's roaster . I will be glad when he goes somewhere else . There is no way that Madrid would sell Robben to us at any price !!

@PD
Dima is ineligible for the Champions League because he played in the qualifying phase for Shakhtar. So it does not matter whether he plays against Barca or not.

welcome! A strong addition to the roster, even at a high price (I remember a lot of complaints about alves' price last year too...)

Now we should go for Arteta. Great dribbler with good composure and technique, and shooting(From Barca). A 15-18mil deal would be great. 09/10 squad:

GK:Valdes, Pinto
RB:Alves, (Puyol, Muniesa)
LB:Abidal, Maxwell
CB:Puyol, Chygrynskiy, Pique, Marquez, Milito, (Muniesa, Fontas)
DM:Yaya, Busquets
CM:Xavi, Iniesta, Keita, Guddy, Arteta, (Yaya)
RW:Messi, Pedro,
LW:Henry, (Iniesta, Bojan)
CF:Ibra, Bojan, (Messi, Henry)

Henrique should leave on loan and Guddy should stay this year. When Guddy leaves next year, Jonathan and Thiago will get their chance.

Everton are NOT gonna sell any more players now. They already lost Lescott, Jegielka is injured for 4 months & would be back only in december. They seemed very lost off late with all the unsettling of Lescott & David Moyes is not gonna tolerate any of this shit again. I'm pretty sure he's not gonna let Arteta move. He's such a nice manager, I don't think Arteta would even consider to diss his manager.
But i agree Arteta would sove all our issues relating attacking depth, because he's a poor man's Iniesta & plays really well on wing

Dima speaks good english apparently... It would interesting to see who would represent Barca after we play an EPL team in Champions League. Looks like there's a very stiff competition between Dima & Piquenbauer not just on the pitch but also off-pitch affairs also :P

I think Chiggy is so excited to join Barca that he forgets how to defend against Barca in super cup :D
