Italian sports paper La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Barcelona playmaker and Brazilian international Ronaldinho (28) agreed terms with AC Milan.
Roberto de Assis, Ronaldinho's brother and agent, closed yesterday evening a deal on a two-year contract worth 6,5 million euro plus incentives a year. That way Milan just takes over the contract that the Brazilian has at this moment with Barcelona.
Milan wants to close now as soon as possible a deal with Barcelona. Although Barcelona would already have dropped the asking price to 25 million euro°, Milan holds on to their intial offer of 15 million euro°. Milan vice president Adriano Galliani could travel in the coming days to Barcelona to sign the deal.

Don't let ronaldinho go he can get back to his best
Lets meet in the middle, 20 Mio. and it's a done deal.
Can't wait to see him leaving finally.
barcelona board is grazy, they sell ronny 15 million euros, ronny is worth about 35 million euros, and ronny wll get his best back, so Fc barcelona dont sell Ronaldinho!!!!
THat's less than Caceres...
I never thought I'd see the day that Deco & 'Dinho are sold for 25mil combined! Despite their recent lack of form I find that figure shocking! I guess we can look forward to Eto'o being sold for around 10-15mil as well if we're lucky.
On the flip side it will be nice to have 'Dinho's "bandwagoners" now flocking over to Milan. If there's one thing that irks me most about the fans (the young one's especially) is their allegiances to "a" player and not the club itself. So I say good riddance to 'Dinho's merry bunch of mice as they follow him out the door while he plays a lovely tune on his flute.
I don't believe in this. Some month ago another deal was struck between Milan and R10. Italian bullshit rumours.
Laporta should tell Milan and Galliani to take a hike. Don't do business with that corupted club.
15M? Good price for a finished player which cares more about alcohol then football. Ronaldinho will never return, just look how fat he is.
definitely undervalued, but pragmatism would seem to dictate that we get rid of him while we can get something for him. 6 months of him sitting on our bench sulking, if he deigns to come to games at all, could be a pretty destructive force in our newly rebuilt side.
like pretty much everyone else, i wish he would just get his life together to come back and play for us, but that doesn't look likely to happen. Ronaldinho's problem has never been with ability or potential, but fitness and motivation. you can't force that kind of a player to work out and work for the team, and all you can do is get rid of them to whoever will take em.
it is somewhat depressing to see, though, because he was truly a one-of-a-kind player.
"it is somewhat depressing to see, though, because he was truly a one-of-a-kind player."
I agree with that.
But I think we should try to get at least 20 for him.
20 million euro should be a bare minimum for the Gaucho its truly sad to see him go I hope he can get back to his best even if it is at Milan I just hope if he finally ends up leaving the club will decide to stick with Eto'o. I don't think Barca want to sell Eto'o due to sporting reasons I think its to do with ego but perhaps with Dinho gone the club can keep him even with his alleged bad attitude he's a prolific striker that will be near impossible to replace. IMO I think Barca should just sell Gudjohnson and not get a replacement and get Thiago Neves to replace Ronaldinho and the squad will be complete
Ronaldinho shouldn't go, even if gets was fat and old atleast he can play with Barca B. He's a legend in Barca and I honestly think they should put a statue of him in front of Camp Nou. Just think of what he's done for barca. 15 mil? Unbeliveable. Priceless? Yes.

COJONUDO -
You could not be more wrong. Ronaldinho has been a great to Barcelona, and could have continued to start no matter what form he was in towards the end of the season. Fans are not bandwagoners for continuing to like a player after he leaves the club, that is called loyalty. I do not have to like Milan, but I can hope Ronaldinho does well. IMBECIL NO SABES NI MIERDA!
To "anonymous" you clearly misunderstood my point. I was referring to the so called "fans" who say they will no longer support Barcelona if/when they get rid of Ronnie. To that I say, "good", "we" (Barcelona) don't need nor want you as fans!" It's not to say that you can't still root for an ex-Barcelona player at his new club. My point was that if you are a "true" supporter of a club you stick with that club through thick and thin and for LIFE! No matter who comes in, or who leaves, or how many years it's been since they last won any silverware! Ronnie has done great things at Barcelona and I give him all the credit in the world for taking the club to heights previously unimaginable. I will always consider myself a fan of his. But my heart will remain firmly planted with Barcelona until the day I die! That is the point I was trying to make. Not even Ronnie can be considered greater than the club! Again READ and UNDERSTAND the motto, "MES QUE UN CLUB"!
this does, however, make me think. Arsenal recently lowered Adebayor's price from 30m to roughly 22m. the only other club who are in contact with the player are Milan, but they don't have enough money to buy Ronaldinho AND Adebayor while still renegotiating Kaka's new contract (and have said they only are seeking one big signing this summer anyway).
so if we sell Ronaldinho to Milan, they are effectively out of the running for Adebayor. we can then take that 20m or so, turn around and buy Adebayor from Arsenal and fulfill our central striker slot. that might be what the board/Pep are planning to do, in which case it is a bit clever.
Cojonudo is absolutely right. As far as the prices for Deco and Ronaldinho, it's like buying a used car that has been through the wars. It might work perfectly, it might be a piece of junk. You just don't know. Unfortunately, the market prices for Deco and Ronaldinho reflect that reality.
The Ronaldinho of 2005-2006 was priceless. Last year's Ronaldinho is actually worth less than 15 million Euros, I'm sorry to say. Anybody who buys him is paying for potential.
We see reports that the Brazilian "has his joy back," whatever that means, and that he will be in shape in two weeks, or some such crazy thing. They may all be true. But he's done at the Nou Camp.
And indeed, fans who base their loyalty to a club on a certain player are indeed better off switching allegiance with the player. Some come to Barca because of a player and discover a love of the club, others are just fans of a player, and will switch allegiances based on that player. That's fine, too.
Eto'o is another story, however. He was very productive and still good, even if he's a couple of steps slow these days. Can he get back to his pre-injuries form? Probably not, so it's a risk.
If Arsenal is cutting the price of Adebayor, and they sign Ronaldinho, we should be wondering why in the hell the Gunners weren't cutting the price for us.
But our board isn't crazy. It's over a barrel. If you keep Eto'o and Ronaldinho for a season, and they REALLY stink, then you wind up even more damaged goods that you have to sell because it's the last year of the player's contract, and you have to get something rather than losing them on a free transfer.
If he leaves..alot of "barca" will leave with him..
I disagree, cbr_boss. If they leave, they weren't Barca fans to begin with. If you mean that a lot of the club will leave, or a lot of the club's spirit, again, I disagree.
Ronaldinho is not Barca. No one player is Barca. If anyone in the lineup were to come closest, it would be Puyol. Yes, there will come a time when age and pace, like Maldini at AC Milan, will make him have to make some hard decisions. Then the irreplacable will have to be replaced.
But Ronaldinho has been with the club since 2003, and really should have been sold in 2007. If you look at his career, he has a 3-4 year life with a club, before it's time to move on. We kept him a year too long in retrospect, but selling him after 2006 would have been inconceivable, right?
If Barca "fans" want to leave because we sell Ronaldinho, fine. Best of luck to them. But the core that is the club remains intact, because it's bigger than any one player.
As for Ronaldinho, much love and respect for what he did for the club. I wish him all happiness, except if he crosses our path in Champions League. Then I'll be pulling for Yaya or Keita to put the boot in and leave it in.
reports in spain say that milan are on the verge of getting ronaldinho while in england they say that adebayor is close to swtiching to milan. Milan have said that they will sign just one of the two...so any clue as to who that would be???
Kxevin is damn right, alot of great players was there in Barca and finally they left for a reason or another but barca is still there proud of Its players , do you think that Ronei is greater than Deigo Maradona? well if Ronei will take alot of Barca with him so Maradona should have left us without a club!! who else?? Romario , Rivaldo the list is endless.. thats football, players come and go and what remains is the club
wish Ronei all the best.
Well the time has finally come to an end, the glory days of Ronaldinho and Eto'o are finally over because the two of them would never return to the form they had three seasons ago because of injuries and other situations but it's time to look towards the future of the club and just like when Rivaldo was there the club found a new star and we loved him but it's a new era so we would find a new one, just wish Barcelona go after David Silva, Thiago Neves, Hernanes and Klass Jan Huntelaar and that would be our squad for next season.
