Asked about the rumours linking him with a summer move to Barcelona (read more here), Arsenal forward and Togolese international Emmanuel Adebayor (24) has made clear to journalists that he does not have any intention to leave his club in the summer:
"As a footballer you want to make history and leave your name at a club. I hope I can do that at this club because I love the club. I am at the right team at the right moment playing some good football and scoring goals so of course I am happy. The most important thing is playing for the fans, and having the opportunity to play with so many great players."

Good for both parties. I just not convinced that Adebayor is a big game player that rises to the occasion. Nor do I think he's the most mentally strong individual to perform under such a glaring spotling known as the Catalan press. Of course Benzema and Huntelaar would seem to be the most logical and attractive alternatives. But at what cost? and most importantly you have to sort out the logjam up front before making any rash changes in my opinion.
