Dear Culés,
Have you ever sat infront of your TV or computer while you were watching a FC Barcelona game and hoped you could share your excitement, feelings, and opinions with other fans LIVE as it happens?
Having started last weekend, we are proud to present you the new FC Barcelona Match Chat. Now you will be able to communicate before, during, and after the match. The chat will be available from two hours before until two hours after the match. In the future this could turn into a 24/7 chat.
The chat is designed to be very user friendly and just requires you to enter your desired nickname and join (no registration required!). It is open to everyone, therefore make sure to invite your friends and spread the message. If you encounter any troubles or difficulties please put them here in the comments section or contact omarx in the chatroom.

Good luck, I will post a link to the chat post in the ramble, we may get some Basel fans to chat with us tonight;)
The first match chat (last sunday), there were some technical problems. Not everyone was able to connect.
Omar, who is the guy who is organizing the chat (thank him for this, not me!), has fixed some things which should allow more peiople, and hopefully everyone, to take part this time.
Several people who couldn't connect initially, were able to chat after the changes were made last Sunday.
You're not yet able to chat right now (starts two hours before the match), but to give you an idea about how it looks like, you could already go and take a look now.
Adding: if you have any comments or questions (and you cannot connect), you can put them here, so omar can pick them up.

I personally think keeping the room moderate - no one will ever be able to speak if someone is not around to (+)V them. Plus - other futher problems with netsplits and server being overloaded with sign attempts through bnc and dns.

In the "Match discussion: Basel" post the link to the chat need to be fixed, it is directed to an old page, not to this one.
This is how I am, pep, when I don't have lot of work to do to burn my energy :)

Omar is having classes right now, so he probably isn't around to fix things, so we should.
If you want to discuss the match you can go to the "Match discussion" post. Would be better we leave this space for comments or questions on the chat, so Omar gets a quick overview of what has been going on when he reads this.
I don't know anything about this stuff, but apparently it needs some time and work to set this up, so I'm sure we're going through some start-up problems that will be resolved in the near future.
If you can think you can give Omar a hand, let us know.
On Sunday, 118 people joined the chat. So if you count all the people who couldn't connect, the potential is certainly there for a great Barcelona Match Chat!
