9,2 million euro =
14 million us dollar
7 million british pound
If he makes it at Hamburg, he'll cost +20m next season.
Seriously, we bought an unknown player like Henrique who only has 1 year experience from the Brazilian league, for 10m and immediately loaned him out. But we didn't go for this player.
The Barcelona board really makes remarkable decision these days. I can't wait until Laporta and Txiki are out of the club.
Anony, how many games you watched for the two players? I wonder...
more like 28 mil euro
Given Neves' "reputation" maybe it's for the best that Barcelona didn't sign him. The last thing this club needs is another "prima donna", high maintenance character to deal with at the club.
And honestly, do you really believe Barcelona were so out of the loop that they would fail to realize Hamburg's bid? The bottom line is Barcelona easily could have signed the lad and chose not to.
Neves is extremely talented no doubt but he is a very immature person, and that sentiment has been made by quite a few people. I could more easily understand it if he was 18-19yrs old, but he's 23 and still acting like a teenager! Talent aside Barcelona made the right move not to sign him. Let him be some other club's headache.
