Quote of the day: Lionel Messi

I hope that Eto'o doesn't leave. There's no other centre forward like him in the world.

We all hope Eto'o will stay. Laporta said something like he wants him stay too. Give him lifetime contract and let him stay. He deserved it.

NO matter what etoo did in a friendly he MUST leave. Thats how the plans were at the begining. I heard someone said here that if u rebuild the house u should remove also the roof . Etoo should leave. Eventhoug he is good but dinho was good too some things must happen. if u know what i mean .

If the boy can find the net and is in high regard by the likes of Messi.. Then extra thought must be done on letting go such a player what are we trying to achieve by doing this its tricky when you could potentially be selling something your looking for. Eto' is sought after by any-team with money to safice a transfer and we're in a hurry to sell him somethings wrong with that. I yelled to keep him since the day I found this blog. I hope you stay aswell Eto'.

And what else is Messi going to say? Dump Eto'o? And Messi's team-building credentials are....

Who knows what's going on with that deal. With Eto'o crazy-ass salary demands, the odds that we'll be stuck with him increase by the day.

Much love for Messi, he's a great player who has come up through our system the right way. He's still learning the game, and should become one of the greats. But he isn't thinking about a lot of things that the technical staff are. Sure, it's great when players express sentiments such as those. But they won't and shouldn't carry any weight.

If we can get a good offer for him, and someone is foolish enough to pay him 150K per week, off he goes.

And I can only repeat what I've said in the past: Everyone who wants to keep him this season, should resolve not to howl when he has to be sold for cheap next season (like Dos Santos) to avoid losing him on free transfer.

I'll keep him if it make Messi happy. Eto do his job well anyway and can we actually get someone who can do his job better if he leave?

This is a difficult case. Eto'o keeps being a scoring machine. Last season wasn't bad if we consider his injuries. It seems he and Messi really find eachother on the pitch.Kepping your top player happy is important, but not for every price...
A swap with the talented Benzema seems a very interesting option aswell. Let's see how this goes.
