Barcelona has announced that the club has at this moment more than 163 000 socios (members paying a contribution), a record and four per cent more than one year ago. Real Madrid has little over half of that number. Seventeen per cent of the new socios are coming from outside Spain.

Ticketmaster.com. There are still some pretty good seats left. Most of the folks from The Offside/Barcelona are sitting around midfield, in the 200 section.
Oh, and that's great news. I've been a soci for a while, and there is no better way of supporting the club we all love so.
Oh yea, how much does it cost to be a socios and is it yearly or something?

Are there any socios amogst you? And is it worthwile to become one, even if you don't live near Barcelona? I am seriously considering becomming member. It's also a good way to support the club directly
I'm a soci, Brambo. But I go to matches in Barcelona every year. The ticket discount and discount on team kit more than pays for the membership.
But even if I didn't go, I like knowing that I am supporting the club in the most direct way possible.
I've forgotten what it costs, because it automatically renews every season. 120 Euros or some such amount. But it's more than worth it to me.
