Barcelona interested in two Sevilla left wingers

Spanish news site El Confidencial claims that Barcelona is interested in Sevilla players Diego Capel (21 - picture) and Adriano Correia (24).

To strenghten the left wing, Barcelona failed to sign Ribéry, Arshavin and Riera earlier this summer and would now still be looking to add another player to the squad.

Both Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola and Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain reportedly like the Spaniard and the Brazilian a lot, although it's not clear if there's enough time left for Barcelona to make a bid for Capel or Adriano. The buyout clause of Capel would be 15 million euros°.

luis suarez is far better than them !!!!!!

Who is luis suarez (where does he play age etc.) I think Capel gould be an ok signing a couple of seasons age ago he was one of the best players in La Liga but he had a poor season last year due to injuries.

Only problem with Capel is he reminds me to much of Messi

El Fuego said...

where is te problem there.

if he reminds to messi(the best player on the planet) it only can be good:

luis suarez is ajax player who is quite versatile can play both side of wing as well as CF ... there was also a rumour of him linking with barca and it was posted yesterday i believe ... u can check it ...also his video of tuesdays game in which he scored 4 goals is there

Capel is very overated.Runs with his head down and permanent hunch.Complete cheat too.Adriano is the best of the bunch at sevilla.Ryan babel would also suit the 4 33 at barca being dutch and has huge potential.plays too deep at liverpool

we probably wont make anymore signgings, but i expect us to be active in the winter

Ok i remeber he´s the guy everybody is talking about at Ajax. I agree that Babel would be great and it seems like he´s not getting alot of minutes at Liverpool. Also Dembele or Alexis Sanchez could some interesting options. About Capel hunching when he dribbles, look at Robben he does the same and hes still one of the best to bad he´s in Madrid

What if there's some serious damage(God forbid) in the mean time!? I'll never forgive Txiki, him and his incompetence :(

Capel is similar to Robben but NOT as talented :active, selfish and a true diver !!

Capel's not bad if you don't mind the fact that he's made of glass and horribly one footed.

No players from fc barcelona in Samuel Eto'o perfect XI? This is strange.

Johan Cruijff has once described Capel as too selfish and NOT a Barça quality !!

I am watching right now match of Benfica....Keirrison is not playing again...Di Maria, Saviola and Cardozo are in the first team...

I really feal we didn`t make a good transfer with him...It would be better to leave him in our squad...

Deszie7 said...

Neither of them are Barca quality, Luis Saurez is very good in a bad league, Babel isn't good enough to start for Liverpool so wouldn't get near our team, but Alexis Sanchez is a very exciting young winger who would be a great addition but we're not interested in him(don't know why) instead we go for a player we could of got 6 months ago but decided not to (Arshavin)????? Whats the point in that? Txiki needs to get his act together stop buting crap like Hleb and start buying some quality players to compliment our home grown stars

And another news....Eto`o scored on him debut for Inter in serie A

Babel sucks horribly.

Jesus Navas?

@ Keano

Yep, that's my opinion to - "Runs with his head down" and overrated. That was the first things that come to my mind when I saw the headline. There must be like 50 better choices out there if we're going to lower ourself's to Capels level.
And Adriano is one of my favourit players, but on LB (our own Alves on the left side!) or maybe a LM in a 4-4-2. But not to play our left wing.
This rapport is BS imo...

I wish we still had Gio dos Santos...he is way better & more talented then Pedro & Jeffren...

He was voted as best player in the gold cup!

Maybe we should make an offer for around 10 mill and buy him back. After 1 year in london & ipswich, i think he realises that Barcelona is the best place to be.

i prefer suarez or hulk... if u ask me...

SJP said...

gio needs to learn respect before he could come back. robben not a diver, please, he pretty much wrote the hand-book on diving. suarez would be great but probably too expensive, babel has not been given a proper chance at liverpool.
capel would be cheap squad player who could allow henry rest.

i think we should go for sulley muntari.

@E
yeah same here, giovanni is way way talented than all these stupid names, unfortunately his attitude sucked, maybe if he improved his attitude he might come back to us? especially with his brother likely to break into the first team he might actually want to play and live with him??

Anonymous said...

I agree that selling Gio dos santos was a mistake, but only if he stops wasting his talent

Deszie7 said...

I agree we should get Giovani back he is class he knows the system how we play won't need time to adapt and from the DISASTER that has been his time at Tottenham he won't mess up a second chance at Barca, like E said he's much better than Pedro and Jeffren, very good point Sachin but I'd say because of the Tottenham experiance his attitude would change, and we could get him cheap enough as Harry Redknapp doesn't want him I say like we done with Pique bring Gio home

capel form has gone down n adriano is no way near barca quality. plus babel wud never even warm teh bench in barca. n all u guys talking about suarez, take fonso alves for example teh guy was unstopabble just like suarez but look at him now awful in middlesbrough. anyways teh one player worth looking at in sevilla is deigo perotti only 20 n that guys is awesome.

luis suares is nothing much I saw his match aganist psv and on the other side was a much much better player Balazs Dzsudzsak the hungarian national team LW. This guy is gonna be a great player soon like Ribery... He needs a better club ewen if psv is a great place to start but in barcelona he could get much better, a barca class LW. Forget about all the other wich are for sale because they are not enough even at their actual club.

You know what guys, I never even thought about it once.

Bringing Gio back would be one hell of an idea and he has certainly improved even more since he left and this time might come back more humble, he is young and already knows barca, and to tell you the truth i didn't think he did too badly for us, remember the last game of the 2007-08 season?.

Might cost under 10 million too.

Go Beguerestein, and and also Chygy will do too as long as its under 20 million.

Unknown said...

Also any chance we might be able to cancel Kerrys loan at Benfica, because I doubt he'll learn much from this absolutely useless team. I never watched the Portuguese Liga before and was made to watch the whole of todays game Vs Guimaraes just because of Kerry. And also Aitor you can forget abour David Luis and Di Maria because they are not Barca material from what I have seen in their last 3-4 games.

I've gotten all warm and cuddly inside. But seriously now that ive checked some recent videos of Gio, well, he has improved and not to knock on pedro, but its obvious that Gio is better than any of our wing options excluding Iniesta & XAvi. He looks like a beast out there.

And while it may be against inferior competition like the U.S, he looks focused which is something unheard of while at barca. With all this said, there's a reason why he started in barca's first team at the age of 18....just saying.

GReekcule said...

Oh crap, just thinking of the potential of a future midfield of
Gio-Jonathan-Thiago.....Pique situation part deux.

I just wet myself =)

sort of like those twins at Manchester United but only a lot better.

Thoughts?

mmm greek personally i think rafael and fabio da silva from man u are better then gio and thiago (atm). i like all four of them. imagine fabio and rafeal at barca in couple of yrs time. they'll be our future lb and rb (they can also play lm and rm aswell)

fabio and rafeal would be great signing for barca (long time investment) both of em play like dani alves

this is my opinion so dont rage if u think different

tero said...

ManU won't let those boys go cheap...I think Suarez would be the best option for wing...although we have many home-grown players to back-up also.IMO Pedro is fully ready to be the first back-up for Messi...
