Barcelona's medical staff has announced that Barcelona central defender Carles Puyol (30) has suffered a sprained left ankle during yesterday's league game against Athletic Bilbao.
Puyol, who was replaced by Víctor Sánchez at the end of the game, is expected to be out for the next three weeks. This would mean that the Catalan defender will miss the Champions League game against Lyon and the league games against Almería and Málaga. The player will be further examined on Monday.

It's stupid injure. Only 5 players are available. What's about Milito? He began training with team two weeks ago and what?
How do you think, who will play as LB against Lyon?
sylvinho will do it propably. the whole club is injury prone. i hope this it will end soon.
iniesta was two times out for weeks.
for puyol it's also the second injury.
alves was out because of his shoulder.
abidal is out for 8 weeks. it's also the second time. he was out for 3 weeks in the first half of the season.
most of the injuries happend to defenders. is something going wrong?
Sylvinho Caceres Pique if Dani Alves is not back Botia/Victor Sanchez
Pique and Marquez should take responsibility and organize the back 4... man this is getting scary... we need defenders..... very badly........
Speed. A severe lack of. we can't afford to play such a high defensive line against Lyon, or have alves leaving only 3 at back. Now we will see what sort of tactician pep is. I think we should go 'a bit' defensive on wednesday, but not sure if pep will
:(
alves was missing yesterday because of his 5th yellow card... am i wrong? he's not injured, isn't he?
alves, marquez, pique, sylvinho will line up against lyon. and yes i am a little bit nervous.
