Henry becomes fourth European goalscorer

Barcelona player Thierry Henry (30) has become, with 50 goals, the fourth highest goalscorer in European Cup history following his two goals against Lyon on Wednesday.

Real Madrid player Raúl leads the standings with 64 goals, followed by Ruud van Nistelrooy (60) and Andriy Shevchenko (56).

Henry made his European debut on 1 October 1997, when he appeared for AS Monaco in their win over Bayer Leverkusen. Henry scored 7 of his European goals with Monaco, 35 with Arsenal and 8 with Barcelona. The goal against Lyon took him to 50 from 104 matches, which works out at 0.48 goals a game.

he´s been truly great this season thus far, lets hope his performances will be of that high standard until he´s gone (not that i want him to go right now..):)

btw pep, maybe some other bloggers have encounter this, but i would strongly suggest to move the comments button little bit down or to the side, because it happens almost every singel time, that when i want to click to see comments, the share menu expand and i have to do it again with more accuracy trying not to hover over the share button..

I know, eddie, but I'm not really good at this stuff. I'll see what I can do, but don't expect anything soon. Just be more accurate!!! ;)

pep, no problem, dont worry about it, this is really one of "the biggest shortcomings" your blog has - almost irrelevant, it is like complain on camp nou by saying that the seat no. 17 in sector E is of bad quality - doesnt make difference when judging the stadium..:)

(i made that up, never been to the stadium..:)
